| Jan 14-16, 2011, 2 Timothy 1-3 Dear Saints, This weekend we prayerfully continue with 2 Timothy 1, 2 Timothy 2 and 2 Timothy 3 (New International Version, ©2010). I thank God through the blood of Jesus for the opportunity to share this Feast with the Saints. When people ask me what I do for a living; I answer I’ve been appointed by The Holy Spirit to share Gods Word with the Saints. “What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. 2 Timothy 1:13–14, (New International Version ©2010). I am happy knowing you too also enjoy this peace that passes understanding, sharing Christ Jesus, with any you meet. This is why I say we need fellowship with each other and a personal relationship with Jesus through whom we seek the Father. “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.)” 2 Timothy 2:22 – 26 (New International Version, ©2010) If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to share the Feast with others. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast Monday.
“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.” - 1 John 4:20-21- (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).
Overview II TimothyThe first design of this epistle seems to have been, to apprize Timothy of what had occurred during the imprisonment of the apostle, and to request him to come to Rome. But being uncertain whether he should be suffered to live to see him, Paul gives a variety of advices and encouragements, for the faithful discharge of his ministerial duties. As this was a private epistle written to St. Paul's most intimate friend, under the miseries of imprisonment, and in the near prospect of death, it shows the temper and character of the apostle, and contains convincing proofs that he sincerely believed the doctrines he preached. - Matthew Henry Concise.
We pray that you will accept Jesus as your savior? If the answer is yes you need fellowship. If you want to correspond with an ordained minister, Pastor Glen would love to hear from you mailto:evangelistglen@yahoo.com

Fri, Jan 14, 2011, 2 Timothy 2; “The apostle exhorts Timothy to persevere with diligence, like a soldier, a combatant, and a husbandman. (1-7) Encouraging him by assurances of a happy end of his faithfulness. (8-13) Warnings to shun vain babblings and dangerous errors. (14-21) Charges to flee youthful lusts, and to minister with zeal against error, but with meekness of spirit. (22-26) “ - Matthew Henry Concise.
Sun,Jan,16, 2011 2 Timothy 3; “The apostle foretells the rise of dangerous enemies to the gospel. (1-9) Proposes his own example to Timothy. (10-13) And exhorts him to continue in the doctrine he had learned from the Holy Scriptures. (14-17) ” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Jan 12, 2011, Song of Solomon 8
Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue finish our feast in the Song of Solomon with Song of Solomon 8. The Jewish church found the path through the wilderness, with the support of God. We the Christian church have been accepted into the family of God, by the grace of Jesus; “5 Who is this coming up from the wilderness leaning on her beloved?” Song of Solomon 7:13 (New International Version ©2010). This is why I say we need fellowship with each other and a personal relationship with Jesus through whom we seek the Father. “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” Eph 2:18 -19 (Modern King James). If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to feast together so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.
“that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 - (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).

Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Song of Solomon 7. My Lord and Savior knows me. He knows how I labor to prepare a perfect table to send His Word. Like you I strive to know my Lord better than the day before; “13 The mandrakes send out their fragrance, and at our door is every delicacy, both new and old, that I have stored up for you, my beloved.” Song of Solomon 7:13 (New International Version ©2010). If you want to know Him you must be a willing vessel for His love and use. If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. |
Jan 10-11, 2011, Song of Solomon 5 & 6 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Song of Solomon 5 and Song of Solomon 6. I’m sorry I had to send a two day Feast today; yesterday I was too sick to do the Feast. We continue on enjoying our Feast that speaks of the Bride (Church) and the love that is held for the Groom (Christ). “2 My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to browse in the gardens and to gather lilies. 3 I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine; he browses among the lilies.” - Song of Solomon 6:2 - 3 (New International Version ©2010). Now is the time we think about the Churches future and labor for our God; " After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:1–2. Modern King James Version. So whatever we do and wherever we go let’s keep issue Number one salvation and the sharing of such issue number one. If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to feast together so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.
“When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” - Psalm 118:5-6- (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).

Jan 7-9, 2011-Song of Solomon 2 - 4
|
January 7-9, 2011-Song of Solomon 2 - 4
Dear Saints, For Friday, Saturday & Sunday we prayerfully continue our Feast in Song of Solomon 2, Song of Solomon 3 & Song of Solomon 4. Some days we all need someone to run to. In these scriptures we see the love of God and the grace of Jesus; “The mutual love of Christ and his church. (1-7) The hope and calling of the church. (8-13) Christ's care of the church, Her faith and hope. (14-17) Verses 1-7 Believers are beautiful, as clothed in the righteousness of Christ; and fragrant, as adorned with the graces of his Spirit; and they thrive under the refreshing beams of the Sun of righteousness. The lily is a very noble plant in the East; it grows to a considerable height, but has a weak stem. The church is weak in herself, yet is strong in Him that supports her. The wicked, the daughters of this world, who have no love to Christ, are as thorns, worthless and useless, noxious and hurtful. Corruptions are thorns in the flesh; but the lily now among thorns, shall be transplanted into that paradise where there is no brier or thorn. The world is a barren tree to the soul; but Christ is a fruitful one. And when poor souls are parched with convictions of sin, with the terrors of the law, or the troubles of this world, weary and heavy laden, they may find rest in Christ. It is not enough to pass by this shadow, but we must sit down under it. Believers have tasted that the Lord Jesus is gracious; his fruits are all the precious privileges of the new covenant, purchased by his blood, and communicated by his Spirit; promises are sweet to a believer, and precepts also. Pardons are sweet, and peace of conscience sweet. If our mouths are out of taste for the pleasures of sin, Divine consolations will be sweet to us. Christ brings the soul to seek and to find comforts through his ordinances, which are as a banqueting-house where his saints feast with him. The love of Christ, manifested by his death, and by his word, is the banner he displays, and believers resort to it. How much better is it with the soul when sick from love to Christ, than when surfeited with the love of this world! And though Christ seemed to have withdrawn, yet he was even then a very present help. All his saints are in his hand, which tenderly holds their aching heads. Finding Christ thus nigh to her, the soul is in great care that her communion with him is not interrupted. We easily grieve the Spirit by wrong tempers. Let those who have comfort, fear sinning it away.” Matthew Henry Concise
“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” - Ephesians 5:1-2

Thu, Jan 06, 2011, Song of Solomon 1

Thu, Jan 06, 2011, Song of Solomon 1 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully begin our feast in Song of Solomon (SoS). Now we are getting into the meat of our relationship with Jesus; “4 Take me away with you—let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you we will praise your love more than wine. How right they are to adore you” - Song of Solomon 1:4 (New International Version ©2010). Our God is awesome and this is poetry out of love for him. In all of this let’s never forget issue number one. As we read the Song of Solomon we begin to get an inkling of God’s love for us; "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 – Modern King James Version. Our relationship with God is truly a love affair like no other. Today my bride and I are celebrating forty three years of marriage. We know that Jesus put us together and we are for now one person in the Lord. If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to feast together so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.
“[Be Holy] Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.” - 1 Peter 1:13 - (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).
Song of Solomon Overview; “This book is a Divine allegory, which represents the love between Christ and his church of true believers, under figures taken from the relation and affection that subsist between a bridegroom and his espoused bride; an emblem often employed in Scripture, as describing the nearest, firmest, and most sure relation: see ( Psalm 45 , Isaiah 54:5,6 , Jeremiah 2:2 , Jeremiah 3:1 ) ; also in Ezekiel, Hosea, and by our Lord himself, ( Matthew 9:15 , Matthew 25:1 ) : see also ( Revelation 21:2,9 , Ephesians 5:27 ) . There is no character in the church of Christ, and no situation in which the believer is placed, but what may be traced in this book, as humble inquirers will find, on comparing it with other Scriptures, by the assistance of God the Holy Spirit, in answer to their supplications. Much, however, of the language has been misunderstood by expositors and translators. The difference between the customs and manners of Europe, and those of the East, must especially be kept in view. The little acquaintance with eastern customs possessed by most of our early expositors and translators, has in many cases prevented a correct rendering. Also, the changes in our own language, during the last two or three centuries, affect the manner in which some expressions are viewed, and they must not be judged by modern notions. But the great outlines, rightly interpreted, fully accord with the affections and experience of the sincere Christian.” – Matthew Henry Concise
The Feast Thu, Jan 06, 2011, Song of Solomon; “The title. (1) The church confesses her deformity. (2-6) The church beseeches Christ to lead her to the resting-place of his people. (7,8) Christ's commendation of the church, Her esteem for Him. (9-17).” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Wed, Jan 05, 2011, Ecc. 12
|
Wed, Jan 05, 2011, Ecc. 12
Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully conclude our feast in Ecclesiastes 12. There are days that I can hardly sit up long enough to keep my vow to you and God. There are times when we serve God and share with others and pray. And we do not feel good as we carry out our vow, to carry God’s Word to the ends of time. This is when we turn to God for strength and remember God is not a feeling we carry with us. We serve Him in faith and obedience to Him; “9 Not only was the Teacher wise, but he also imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs. 10 The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true. 11 The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails—given by one shepherd.[b] 12 Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them.” - Ecclesiastes 12:9-11, (New International Version ©2010). When we live by and share his truth with others we stay in the narrow path he gives us, then the Holy Spirit can give us peace and understanding. As we walk this walk remember issue number one. We gracefully move toward our goal among sinners remembering our God wouldn’t want anyone to parish. That being said, release as many as God sends to us in Jesus name. “17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 18 But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: "Their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.” Romans 10:17-18 – Modern King James Version. If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to feast together so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.
“Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” - Isaiah 1:16-17- (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).
