Be The Guide Leviticus 3

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 LEV 3

l The Feast l
Mar 12_2012 Chapter 3
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Leviticus 3
In Leviticus God shows his people what sacrifices and how to perform them to be in order for them to be acceptable by God. Take notice that the lamb shall be without blemish; ““If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers an animal from the herd, male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.” Leviticus 3:1, (ESV - English Standard Version). This is an important part of the sacrifice. The forgiveness for sin comes only through a sacrificial blood offering from a perfect male. As we continue to Feast and build our faith we will begin to see how important this is.; ”6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned—every one—to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
yet he opened not his mouth;
like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,
so he opened not his mouth.
8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away;
and as for his generation, who considered
that he was cut off out of the land of the living,
stricken for the transgression of my people?” Isaiah 53:6-8, (ESV - English Standard Version). All of us have sinned it’s true that sin becomes part of man’s nature, there are no perfect men. God loves us so much that the prophesy in Isaiah 53 was fulfilled by Jesus “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV. God's Riches At Christ's Expense(grace), through no works of ours or any man, except Jesus we receive God’s gift of love eternally. It is so painful to see many “good” people stray off the path that God provides. Please help, not by pointing out sin but by being the one that points out the path.; “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.John 14:6 ESV. We are in stark contrast to Jesus “The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The Sacrifice Leviticus 1 & 2

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 LEV 1-2

l The Feast Weekend Edition l
Mar 10-11_2012 Chapters 1-2
Dear Saints,
This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Leviticus 1 Saturday and Leviticus 2 Sunday. Leviticus An Overview ; “God ordained divers kinds of oblations and sacrifices, to assure his people of the forgiveness of their offences, if they offered them in true faith and obedience. Also he appointed the priests and Levites, their apparel, offices, conduct, and portion. He showed what feasts they should observe, and at what times. He declared by these sacrifices and ceremonies, that the reward of sin is death, and that without the blood of Christ, the innocent Lamb of God, there can be no forgiveness of sins.” Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible .
In Leviticus God shows his people what sacrifices and how to perform them to be in order for them to be acceptable by God; “1 The Lord called Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or from the flock.” Leviticus 1:1-2, (ESV - English Standard Version). There is an important understanding to come to here. God’s Law harbors no provision to forgive sin, it only points out sin. The forgiveness for sin comes only through a sacrificial blood offering from a perfect male. God’s Word tells us how to make the sacrifice acceptable to God; ”3 “If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord” Leviticus 1:1-2, (ESV - English Standard Version). One man sinned against God that was Adam and brought sin into our world. After that sin becomes part of man’s nature, there are no perfect men. So herein lies the problem, God cannot tolerate sin so man with his sin nature is separated from God. So God teaches man how to make sacrifices for his sin. Man goes out and gets that perfect lamb from his sheep throws it in the back of the car. He drives to the tabernacle. He gives his lamb to one of Aaron’s boys to be sacrificed. The deed is done he gets in his car to drive home. Before he gets out of the parking lot another guy at the exit of the tabernacle parking lot, is already sinning. The sign clearly says “Right Turn Only“ the guy has his left signal on and is holding everyone up while he waits to make an illegal left turn. So the man (who just sacrificed his perfect lamb) rolls down his window and yells; “Hey fool can’t you read? The sign says “Right Turn Only, can’t you wait to get out of the parking lot to sin?“ You can see where I’m going here mans sin nature is out of control. Man’s hearts are (it’s in the book) continually evil. God came up with the only possible solution. “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again this Monday.
Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. Dressed to Serve Exodus 39 & 40

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Exo39-40

l The Feast Daily Edition l
Mar 8-9_2012 Exodus 39-40
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus 39 and Exodus 40 for Friday. Our Feast is about the instructions God gave Moses about the Tabernacle and the clothing for the Priests following God’s directives. God had Moses prepare everything so that His people, priests, Aaron and his sons could serve and worship Him; “12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and shall wash them with water13 and put on Aaron the holy garments. And you shall anoint him and consecrate him, that he may serve me as priest. 14 You shall bring his sons also and put coats on them, 15 and anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests. And their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations.” Exodus 40:12-15, (ESV - English Standard Version). There is no guessing where God works he still is exacting in what we do in preparation to serve Him. We find an example of how we are to dress here in 1 Thessalonians 5:7-9; “7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober,having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,” There is more about preparing yourself for service. We saw in Exodus God was very precise about the design of the breastplate.;”8 He made the breastpiece, in skilled work, in the style of the ephod, of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen. 9 It was square. They made the breastpiece doubled, a span its length and a span its breadth when doubled. 10 And they set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle was the first row;11 and the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;12 and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 13 and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in settings of gold filigree...” Exodus 39:8-13, (ESV - English Standard Version). He also tells us how to build that “faith” on that breastplate of faith.; “17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.“ Romans 10:17 (ESV - English Standard Version). This is why we keep the first thing first, salvation in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. If your interested in preparing for Jesus service I would suggest reading all of Ephesians chapter six. “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” Ephisians 6:13 ESV. [God of All Comfort] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4ESV
