7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 –I Sam 10 l The Feast l Oct 11_2012 I Sam 10 National Days of Prayer Day 14 of 40 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of I Samuel 10. Samuel anoints Saul proclaiming him as King. Saul prophesies he is among God's prophets. Saul is chosen to be king by God's people. “17 Then Samuel called the people together to the Lord at Mizpah, 18 and said to the children of Israel, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all kingdoms and from those who oppressed you.’ 19 But you have today rejected your God, who Himself saved you from all your adversities and your tribulations; and you have said to Him, ‘No, set a king over us!’ Now therefore, present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your clans.”” I Samuel 10:17-19, New King James Version (NKJV). This is where God gave them the King as they requested, they rejected God when they asked for a king. God is our King so when you vote ask God prayerfully whom to vote for. I refuse to use this blog for politics, your vote is between you and God.

In today’s reading I see 4 main statements that should be considered priorities for a nation. nation without God’s guidance is a nation without order. A. Do you see the chaos in our nation’s government? “Arrogance will bring your downfall” How arrogant is it to vote God out of a political party? To make prayer in school illegal or the mention of His name. San Francisco’s mayor is on the hot seat because he is enforcing the illegality of nudity in public. The endorsement of prochoice? If the nation and its people “trust the Lord, you are safe.” . May the motto on our coin, “In God we trust” be true. PRAYER SUGGESTIONS Our Heavenly Father: We pray for our nation once again look and listen to you in the daily affairs of directing our country. Give us wisdom in the choice of our leaders. May we choose those who believe you have a say so in our government. We pray that actions against your instructions will be noted and defeated. We pray in the wonderful name of Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. Amen!”

Day 13 of 40 - Whom will you seek? - 1 Sam 9

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 –I Sam 9 l The Feast l Oct 10_2012 I Sam 9 National Days of Prayer Day 13 of 40 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of I Samuel 9. In 1 Samuel chapter 9, Saul is seeking his fathers asses at Ramah, and is brought to Samuel. God tells Samuel that Saul is to be the new king over his people. Samuel's treats Saul good and explains Gods plan for Saul. “20 But as for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not be anxious about them, for they have been found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you and on all your father’s house?” 21 And Saul answered and said, “Am I not a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel, and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then do you speak like this to me?”” I Samuel 9:20-21, New King James Version (NKJV). We see a couple of things in these two verses. First that in the end God chooses who leads his people. God can and does promote the with the best interest for his people. Secondly He doesn't always promote the richest or most popular person. This is the reason we need to seek God's wisdom as we help choose the leader for our country. Seek God and pray that the Holy Spirit directs you in all of your choices. 40 Days of Prayer # 13 Prayer for our nation By Pastor Glen Aycock;

SCRIPTURE: PSALM 62:1,2… Psalm 62:1,2..."Truly my soul waited upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, he is my defense: I shall not be GREATLY moved". We are crying out to God to save our nation , as we have always known it, and I believe He hears our cries. God is our only salvation to what is wrong in our America. He is the rock we stand on and He is our only defense and the part I like best is that "WE SHALL NOT BE GREATLY MOVED". We feel like our whole world is being moved , and it is, but God will not give us more than we can handle. He gave us this promise and we stand on it! Psalm 85 is a plea for forgiveness. May we all read this Psalm as we pray for our nation and the next days before the election. Lord we pray You will show us Your mercy and grant us salvation. Lord revive us again that we may rejoice in Thee. Regardless of the outcome of this election remember God is the solid rock on which we stand and all other ground is sinking sand. Today we are reading in 1 Samuel chapter 7, This is the beginning of trouble when God's people reject God as their king. The evil government of Samuel's sons. The Israelites ask for a king thinking it will be better than Samuel's sons. The truth is if God is their king all they need to do is pray. They are told about the way people will have to serve under an Earthly king. “6 But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. 8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day—with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also. 9 Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them.”” I Samuel 8:6-9, New King James Version (NKJV). We need to obey the powers appointed over us and be ruled by God. God can is the real answer for our leader. Thank you for praying and reading his Word. Proverbs 1:5-6 - Pray that God's man will listen with discernment, add to his knowledge, and receive wise counsel in this campaign.John 16:33 - Pray that the man of God's choice would be given wisdom and ability from the Lord to overcome any obstacle or difficulty during this campaign. Philippians 4:13 - Pray that the Lord's choice for President will have special strength and unusual ability from God. Psalm 18:32-36 - Pray that the Lord would arm the man of His choice with strength; would guide him in battle (this election); and would sustain him and give him victory. Hebrews 11:32-34 - Pray that God's man could, through faith, persevere and maintain his courage throughout this election. 2 Corinthians 12:9 - Pray that the Lord would empower and enable his man in any area of weakness. Habakkuk 1:5 and 3:2 - Pray that the Lord would do something that would utterly amaze us and give His servant victory. 7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 –I Sam 11 l The Feast l Oct 8_2012 I Sam 7 National Days of Prayer Day 11of 40 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of I Samuel 7. Here we are in our feast in 1 Samuel chapter 7 once again we see what happens when a nation turns to God. The ark removed to Kirjath-jearim. The Israelites solemnly repent and turn to the only true God. The Lord defeats the Philistines and the Israelite men chased them. They are subdued, Samuel judges Israel, they turn to the true God. “3 Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return to the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the Lord, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.” 4 So the children of Israel put away the Baals and the Ashtoreths, and served the Lord only.” I Samuel 7:3-4, New King James Version (NKJV). We in our country need a Nation to repent and turn to God through Jesus. Our God can not only save individuals as we know, he can also save a nation! Continue to pray and reading his Word. “Topic: BEWARE DANGER AHEAD Scripture: Gen 6: 11-22 11 ¶ “As far as God was concerned, the Earth had become a sewer; there was violence everywhere. 12 God took one look and saw how bad it was, everyone corrupt and corrupting—life itself corrupt to the core. 13 ¶ God said to Noah, "It’s all over. It’s the end of the human race. The violence is everywhere; I’m making a clean sweep. 22 ¶ Noah did everything God commanded him to do.” Comments: Driving back from a pastor’s convention late at night I came across a house burning. The lights were out so me and a pastor friend stopped and ran to the house and started pounding on the door and ringing the doorbell. We shouted and yelled with all our might trying to gain the attention of the family within. They were oblivious to the impending danger. The father finally came to the upstairs window and we warned him his house was on fire. He grabbed his wife and three children and escaped the danger. Mr. American your house is on fire and you have been sound asleep. It is imperative that you wake up before you lose your freedom and property and rights. God will not tolerate our sewer level of morals, lack of care for millions of unborn babies. Violence is rampant in our schools, cities, and murder has become a common place in every city and state. What can we do? We can warn of danger! We are to love our Neighbor and pray for them. We also are to pray for our nation. Our nation needs God. What kind of leaders do we need to run our nation? Will you join the thousands of Christians and fast and pray for our country and the upcoming election. Can you smell the smoke signs? What will you do for our country? Will you do everything that God commands you to do? Remember the typing drill, “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.” TODAYS PRAYER THOUGHT: Dear Jesus we are aware of the dangerous route our nation is taking. We pray for every congressman and legislator to get down on bended knee and seek your face and counsel. Help them to take a stand for Godliness and Righteousness. Lord we pour our hearts out in repentance for sin in our lives, whether it is sin of omission or commission. Hear our pray we pray and help us to awaken. In Jesus Name, Amen!”

Here we are in our feast in 1 Samuel chapter 6 we see, once again there is no other god like our God. The Philistines are afraid so they consult how to send back the ark. They tie it to a cart and send it with 2 cows to Bethshemesh. The people smitten for looking into the ark. So they decide to send it on. “20 And the men of Beth Shemesh said, “Who is able to stand before this holy Lord God? And to whom shall it go up from us?” 21 So they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjath Jearim, saying, “The Philistines have brought back the ark of the Lord; come down and take it up with you.”” I Samuel 6:20-21, New King James Version (NKJV). The Philistines god's are made by men. Our God created all men! Continue to seek him in prayer. In almost no time at all they have left the road that I laid out for them and gone off and made for themselves a cast god." 13 GOD said, "I look at this people and all I see are hardheaded, hardhearted rebels. 15 I turned around and started down the mountain—by now the mountain was blazing with fire—carrying the two tablets of the covenant in my two arms. 16 That’s when I saw it: There you were, sinning against GOD, your God—you had made yourselves a cast god in the shape of a calf! So soon you had left the road that GOD had commanded you to walk on. 17 I held the two stone slabs high and threw them down, smashing them to bits as you watched. 18 Then I prostrated myself before GOD, just as I had at the beginning of the forty days and nights. I ate no food; I drank no water. I did this because of you, all your sins, sinning against GOD, doing what is evil in GOD’s eyes and making him angry. 19 I was terrified of GOD’s furious anger, his blazing anger. I was sure he would destroy you. But once again GOD listened to me. Rebelled against the clear orders of GOD, your God. Refused to trust him. Wouldn’t obey him. 24 You’ve been rebels against GOD from the first day I knew you. 25 When I was on my face, prostrate before GOD those forty days and nights after GOD said he would destroy you, 26 I prayed to GOD for you, "My Master, GOD, don’t destroy your people, your inheritance whom, in your immense generosity, you redeemed, using your enormous strength to get them out of Egypt. 5 I turned around and came down the mountain. 10 I stayed there on the mountain forty days and nights, just as I did the first time. And GOD listened to me, just as he did the first time: GOD decided not to destroy you. 11 GOD told me, "Now get going. Lead your people as they resume the journey to take possession Notice that God was fed up and ready to destroy Israel and make another nation of other people. He was angry and Moses interceded for the people and begged for mercy and change of intent from God. Oh how wonder is chapter 9, verse 5 that say “God listened to me”. If we pray God will listen. Hallelujah. This is an urgent prayer request that I received today. Please help me as pray for this lady. Prayer Request “I have a prayer request. There's a lady I've known forever. She's very sick. On top of that, she's being abused by those to whom she has given everything..... Lies about her abound, and seem to come from all sides. Just breaks my heart. Seems there's nothing I can do alone but maybe, if we join in and lift her up together, we can heal her. She's well over 230 years old, but way too young to die. Her name is 'America'... And I love her and have always been proud of her. Please take time to say a prayer for her - even if it is a short, simple prayer like, "Lord, please heal our land. Amen." Thanks!
