Its design appears to be to guard believers against the false teachers who had begun to creep into the Christian church, and to scatter dangerous tenets, by attempting to lower all Christianity into a merely nominal belief and outward profession of the gospel. Having thus denied the obligations of personal holiness, they taught their disciples to live in sinful courses, at the same time flattering them with the hope of eternal life. The vile character of these seducers is shown, and their sentence is denounced, and the epistle concludes with warnings, admonitions, and counsels to believers. The apostle exhorts to stedfastness in the faith. (1-4) The danger of being infected by false professors, and the dreadful punishment which shall be inflicted on them and their followers. (5-7) An awful description of these seducers and their deplorable end. (8-16) Believers cautioned against being surprised at such deceivers arising among them. (17-23) The epistle ends with an encouraging doxology, or words of praise. (24,25)” - Matthew Henry Concise Jude tells the people (see Jude 1:1-8) there is certain judgment for the false teachers.  The nature of the false teachers are described, (see Jude 1:9-25 ) always remember the gospel of Jesus; “24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25 To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” Jude 1:24-25 NKJV.  Pray for all people (see 2 Peter 3:9) that God’s will be done; “9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth--in Him.” Ephesians 1:9-10 NKJV.   Jesus paid the full price for our sins, salvation can’t be bought, sold or earned it is the merciful gift from God (see Ephesians 2:8) assured by His son and our Savior Jesus. Do you want to experience God’s mercy?  Do you want to feel true love?  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything; (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door and He wants you to answer now!   Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Will you answer Him today? Today’s Feast Nov. 5, 2014-Nahum 3 Is The World is a Mess? clic aquí en español   Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead! “25 But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor shown him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem.” 2 Chronicles 32:25 - New King James Version (NKJV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Nahum Chapter 3; “The sins and judgments of Nineveh. (1-7) Its utter destruction. (8-19)” - Matthew Henry Concise Doom is pronounced on the proud city (see Nahum 3:1-7) the wicked will fall without sympathizers.  No matter how mighty or strong the men are (see Nahum 3:8-19) they can’t build a stronghold from God; “19 Your injury has no healing, Your wound is severe. All who hear news of you Will clap their hands over you, For upon whom has not your wickedness passed continually? ” Nahum 3:19 NKJV.  There is joy among the angels (see Luke 15:10) every time a sinner repents and asks Jesus to be Lord of their life.  No matter who you vote for, your governors are appointed by God; “6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. ” Romans 13:6 NKJV.  Therefor if you aren’t happy with your lawmakers or governors (see Psalm 75:5-7) you would be right to take your complaints to God by prayer in the name of Jesus.  By the same token if our world is a Mess; (see 2 Chronicles 7:14) that is because God is waiting for us to pray.  Do you think it is impossible to get all God’s people to agree together in prayer?  You could be right; the next time a brother or sister complains about the government or a politician in your presence; (see Matthew 18:20) say your right let’s pray to God right now in the name of Jesus. Are you ready to trust God?  If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you are!   Do you hear Jesus calling you?  Will you answer Him today? Today’s Feast Nov. 4, 2014-Nahum 2 Prepare To Love & Fight clic aquí en español   Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead! “8 Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Because you have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies, therefore I am indeed against you," says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 13:8 - New King James Version (NKJV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Nahum Chapter 2; “Nineveh's destruction foretold. (1-10) The true cause, their sinning against God, and his appearing against them. (11-13) Verses 1-10 Nineveh shall not put aside this judgment; there is no counsel or strength against the Lord. God looks upon proud cities, and brings them down. Particular account is given of the terrors wherein the invading enemy shall appear against Nineveh. The empire of Assyria is represented as a queen, about to be led captive to Babylon. Guilt in the conscience fills men with terror in an evil day; and what will treasures or glory do for us in times of distress, or in the day of wrath? Yet for such things how many lose their souls! Verses 11-13 The kings of Assyria had long been terrible and cruel to their neighbours, but the Lord would destroy their power... Let us then come to God upon his mercy-seat, that having peace with him through our Lord Jesus Christ, we may know that he is for us, and that all things shall work together for our everlasting good.” - Matthew Henry Concise God has spoken the wicked will perish; “13 "Behold, I am against you," says the Lord of hosts, "I will burn your chariots in smoke, and the sword shall devour your young lions; I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voice of your messengers shall be heard no more."” Nahum 2:13 NKJV.  The time is near (see 1 Peter 4:17) prepare for God’s Judgment is emanate!  Jesus has prepared every saint to stand against evil; “6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” 2 Corinthians 3:6 NKJV.  We are not fighting against flesh and blood, (see Ephesians 6:12) this battle cannot be fought with guns and knives.  How can we fight against that which is not always easily seen; (see Ephesians 6:13-14) that which is so wicked it would kill the spirit.  Look to God’s Word get prepared (see 2 Timothy 2:14-15) to become a worker approved by God.  In all circumstances be ready to love your enemy (see Matthew 5:43-48) while you abhor his sinful acts.  Can a saint be prepared to fight against the sin, (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) while all the while loving the sinner?
