Ask God For Forgiveness!
Today’s Feast
Dec. 26, 2015 – II Samuel 12
Ask God For Forgiveness!
Please join with us
sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying
and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
“he
took him up in his arms and blessed God and said, “Lord, now you are letting
your servant depart in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen
your salvation that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light
for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.”” Luke 2:28-32, English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank you for
joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter
12; “Nathan's parable-David confesses his sin. (1-14) The birth of Solomon. (15-25) David's severity to the Ammonites.(26-31)” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Nathan’s describes David’s
sin in a parable. David confessed his sin and asked for forgiveness. God
punished him by taking the child Bathsheba bore him. Then God forgives David
and Solomon is born by Bathsheba. David back in God’s grace, defeats the
Ammonites. “29 So David gathered all the people together and went to
Rabbah and fought against it and took it. 30 And he took the crown of their
king from his head. The weight of it was a talent of gold and in it was a
precious stone, and it was placed on David’s head. And he brought out the
spoil of the city, a very great amount. 31 And he brought out the people who
were in it and set them to labor with saws and iron picks and iron axes and
made them toil at the brick kilns. And thus he did to all the cities of the
Ammonites. Then David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.” 2
Samuel 12:29-31, ESV. Just as David’s sin put a wall between him and God,
so does our sin. David paid dearly for the sin and we will also pay when we
sin. The point is when we sin don’t blame anyone else or God. If you turn
from sin and ask God forgiveness, he will heal you from the sin just as he
did David. “9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be
given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened
to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks
finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 11 What father
among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a
serpent;” Luke
11:9-11, ESV. Keep the first thing first, that is salvation through our
Lord Jesus Christ. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again
tomorrow.
We thank God for the gift of
salvation; we should resist this cancer called sin, drawing on our faith in
God for the strength to avoid sin. This is why we should keep the first thing
first ,that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. “And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for
you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all
spiritual wisdom and understanding,” Colossians
1:9, ESV. Keep praying for each other,
salvation for every man and that God’s will is done on Earth.
If the Lord is
willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get
caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends
completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in
full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every
Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no
one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew
24:36, ESV. We are building our
relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change
anything. Click this link for more

Bless You,
Brother Mike

Christmas With a Capital “C” 2015!
Today’s Feast
Dec. 25,
2015 – II Samuel 11
Christmas With a Capital “C” 2015!
Today in our Christian nation
we chose to celebrate Christmas! That is the day we celebrate the birth of
Jesus that we choose to observe.
Praying for peace and goodwill to all people! Thanking God for sending Jesus to set us
who believe in God’s only Son free. – Amen!
“6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6, English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank you for
joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter
11; “David's adultery. (1-5) He tries to conceal his crime. (6-13) Uriah murdered. (14-27)” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
David looks out on his
kingdom with worldly eyes, this leads to the sin of adultery. He tries to
conceal his sin even trying to make a fool of Uriah to cover his crime. When
that fails David has Uriah murdered. “26
When the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she lamented
over her husband. 27 And when the mourning was over, David sent and brought
her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing
that David had done displeased the Lord.” 2
Samuel 11:26-27, ESV. David’s sin pulled him away from God. As we saw in
this chapter a glimpse of the problems living in sin can cause. I call sin a
spiritual cancer and there is no hope without Jesus.
We thank God for the gift of salvation;
we should resist this cancer called sin, drawing on our faith in God for the
strength to avoid sin. This is why we should keep the first thing first ,that
is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. “And
so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that
you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and
understanding,” Colossians
