Judgment for Idolatry

The Best of the Feast

Judgment for Idolatry

Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

“17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” James 4:17-17 New King James Version (NKJV)

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 44; The Word of God comes to Jeremiah ( Jeremiah 44:1-14 ) the Jews have persisted in worshiping false gods.  These people have sworn to follow ( Jeremiah 44:15-19) false gods, images, or honor saints, and angels, and the queen of heaven.   The Word of God will stand ( Jeremiah 44:20-30) those who worship false gods will be destroyed; “30 “Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will give Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies and into the hand of those who seek his life, as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, his enemy who sought his life.’”” Jeremiah 44:30  NKJV.  Those who repent and turn to God (Jeremiah 45:1-5 ) will be saved. “4 “Thus you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Behold, what I have built I will break down, and what I have planted I will pluck up, that is, this whole land. 5 And do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I will bring adversity on all flesh,” says the Lord. “But I will give your life to you as a prize in all places, wherever you go.”’”” Jeremiah 45:4-5 NKJV.   Just what is it God wants from people?   Jesus said that the greatest commandment of all ( Matthew 22:35-40) calls on us to love first God, then others and ourselves. “25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, “  Ephesians 5:25-26 NKJV.  Saints you can’t hate or disrespect you wife and please God (Ephesians 5:31) because you and your spouse become one in Christ.   Without love we cannot please God ( 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) in any way.  No one can keep or worship the Idols of this world and love God (Matthew 6:24) in Jesus name.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”” 1 Samuel 16:7  NKJV.

Jeremiah Taken to Egypt

“23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23 New King James Version (NKJV)

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 43; Jeremiah warns the people to go to Egypt to live there (Jeremiah 43:1-7) they were insolent and called him a liar and because of their unbelief they are sent to Egypt. God will set one wicked nation ( Jeremiah 43:8-13) over another to accomplish His will; “12 I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn them and carry them away captive. And he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd puts on his garment, and he shall go out from there in peace. 13 He shall also break the sacred pillars of Beth Shemesh that are in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians he shall burn with fire.”’ Jeremiah 43:12-13   NKJV.  Jesus wants you and I to teach our children the basis for our faith (Deuteronomy 4:9) to raise them up to give glory to God. “4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.“ Ephesians 6:4 ESV. Good parents will bring their children up secure ( 2 Timothy 3:15) in the knowledge that Jesus is sent by God to deliver them from sin.   Teach them that Jesus (2 Timothy 1:5) is the most important legacy we have.  Teach them about the good work God has started in us (Philippians 1:6) and make sure they understand Jesus will deliver them safely from destruction.  Do not allow your child to be taken away to serve any other god. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Warned Against Going to Egypt

Warned Against Going to Egypt

“23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23 New King James Version (NKJV)

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 42; Jeremiah is called upon by the remnant of Judah to ask God’s will (Jeremiah 42:1-6) vowing to do whatever God would answer.  Jeremiah delivers God’s answer to them; ( Jeremiah 42:7-22) they are to stay put and be blessed.  If they go to Egypt they will be destroyed; “21 And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God, or anything which He has sent you by me. 22 Now therefore, know certainly that you shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to dwell.”” Jeremiah 42:21-22 English Standard Version (ESV). God is not waiting for people to make a mistake ( Psalm 103:11) so He can beat down on them.  On the contrary God is waiting on them to ( Psalm 103:13) do what is best for them. “4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, And rejoice before Him. 5 A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.“  Psalm 68:4-5 NKJV. God sees all of the pain and suffering caused by disobedience (Psalm 10:14) and he sent Jesus to redeem those who love His righteousness.   We cherish the salvation brought to us by Jesus ( 1 Timothy 6:20) and we will ignore the babble and contradictions of those who are full of their own wisdom.  Hold on to the good work God has started in us (Philippians 1:6) and know that Jesus will deliver us safely from destruction. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

God’s Will is Fulfilled

God’s Will is Fulfilled

Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

““I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.” Psalm 57:2  New King James Version (NKJV)

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 41;  God began a judgment against these disobedient people (Jeremiah 41:1-10) and what God starts will be completed.  Many times God uses the actions of foolhardy men (Jeremiah 41:11-18) to accomplish His will; “17 And they departed and dwelt in the habitation of Chimham, which is near Bethlehem, as they went on their way to Egypt, 18 because of the Chaldeans; for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had murdered Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon had made governor in the land.” Jeremiah 41:17-18 NKJV. When God begins a good work {Philippians 1:6) He sees it through to completion. “13 As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him.“  Psalm 103:13 NKJV. The fear of God is (Psalm 111:10) is where our wisdom begins.   This is God’s will for us we shall set aside every sin (Proverbs 22:6) so we can run the race to completion. Then when our race is finished our Lord Jesus will reward us {Matthew 25:23 ) for a job well done. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Is Jesus calling you?  Are you willing to do God’s will?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html  .

Today’s Verse; “12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13  NKJV.
