Apr 9_2012 Mark 4
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 4. Blessed Redeemer, Happy Easter! God blessed us Saints, he overcame death and now we have the pleasure to serve the living God with you. Here in Mark we get glimpses of Jesus power and glory. “39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” 41 And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”” Mark 4:39 - 41 ESV. You see God is fair with every person, He tells us that he is not willing that any should parish. He would rather they repent from sin and spend their time in a true relationship with him. First let’s see if we can answer that question concerning Jesus; “Who then is this that even the wind and sea obey him?” “10 And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11 And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”” Mark 1:10-11 ESV. Oh now I see he is one of God’s sons right? Wrong he is God’s only begotten son! ”16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV. Now we have an understanding, Jesus is God’s only Son! We need to have a relationship with God’s only Son Jesus keeping the first thing first. “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,” Ephesians 1:7 ESV. You see knowing who Jesus is and trying to live for him is not enough. It really takes a personal relationship with Jesus;“31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’” Matthew 25:31-36 ESV. Just knowing who Jesus is isn’t enough, enjoy a relationship with Him; “19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! 20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.” - James 2:19 - 23 ESV. In establishing our relationship with Jesus we become God’s friend just as father Abraham did. “13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.” - John 15:13-15 ESV. Thank you Jesus, give us strength and guidance as we attempt to Saintly Serve you Father; Amen! “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Hebrews 1:3 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow continuing to prepare for Saintly Service.
Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.

“know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.” Galatians 2:15 ESV.

The Announcement Mark 1 – 3
7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Mark 1-3
l The Weekend Feast l

Apr 6-8_2012 Mark Chapter 1- 3
Dear Saints,
This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 1 through Mark 3. Mark opens with John the Baptist making the way for or announcing the coming of Jesus. “1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2 As it is written in Isaiah the prophet,
“Behold, I send my messenger before your face,
who will prepare your way,
3 the voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight,’”
4 John appeared, baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.” Mark 1:1-4, English Standard Version. Now this goes right along with what we call “Saintly Service” putting the first thing first. The first thing is salvation by the grace of God through the blood of the Lamb.
Mark an Overview: ”Mark was a sister's son to Barnabas, ( Colossians 4:10 and Acts 12:12 ) shows that he was the son of Mary, a pious woman of Jerusalem, at whose house the apostles and first Christians ( 1Peter. 5:13 ) evangelist is supposed to have been converted by that apostle. Thus Mark was closely united with the followers of our Lord, if not himself one of the number. Mark wrote at Rome; some suppose that Peter dictated to him, though the general testimony is, that the apostle having preached at Rome, Mark, who was the apostle's companion, and had a clear understanding of what Peter delivered, was desired to commit the particulars to writing. And we may remark, that the great humility of Peter is very plain where any thing is said about himself. Scarcely an action or a work of Christ is mentioned, at which this apostle was not present, and the minuteness shows that the facts were related by an eye-witness. This Gospel records more of the miracles than of the discourses of our Lord, and though in many things it relates the same things as the Gospel according to St. Matthew, we may reap advantages from reviewing the same events, placed by each of the evangelists in that point of view which most affected his own mind.” – Matthew Henry Concise.
Saints prayerfully move forward to the New Testament Feast in Mark. Just because it’s Good Friday it is a great time to share God’s Love.; “By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.” 1 John 3:16 ESV . I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast Monday as we continue to prepare for Saintly Service.

“For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 ESV.

Senior Discount Leviticus 27
7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 LEV_27

Apr 5_2012 Chapter 27
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Leviticus 27. This is the laws covering the monetary value of Vows. “Verses 1-13 Zeal for the service of God disposed the Israelites, on some occasions, to dedicate themselves or their children to the service of the Lord, in his house for life. Some persons who thus dedicated themselves might be employed as assistants; in general they were to be redeemed for a value. It is good to be zealously affected and liberally disposed for the Lord's service; but the matter should be well weighed, and prudence should direct as to what we do; else rash vows and hesitation in doing them will dishonour God, and trouble our own minds.” Leviticus 27:1-13, Matthew Henry Commentary Concise. Now with that being said we see that one should consider carefully when making a vow. God values your word. The thing that caught my eye here was how fair God is when setting the price for these vows. “1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, If anyone makes a special vow to the Lord involving the valuation of persons, 3 then the valuation of a male from twenty years old up to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. 4 If the person is a female, the valuation shall be thirty shekels. 5 If the person is from five years old up to twenty years old, the valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels. 6 If the person is from a month old up to five years old, the valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female the valuation shall be three shekels of silver. 7 And if the person is sixty years old or over, then the valuation for a male shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels. 8 And if someone is too poor to pay the valuation, then he shall be made to stand before the priest, and the priest shall value him; the priest shall value him according to what the vower can afford.” Leviticus 27:1 - 8 ESV. Saints this reminds me of everyday life here in the Stanford home. When my children were young or now doing anything with ny grandchildren that I had to pay for I looked (and still do) at the discounts. How much for the baby, the student, adult and senior pricing. I find it very interesting that God already had discounts for vows. It makes me think about a story that a pastor shared in a Sunday morning service. I need to tell it like I remember it; “At the end of a service an evangelist had an alter call. There were three people who came forward to accept Jesus. A man in his mid thirties, a woman in her mid sixties and a 12 year old child. After the service an Elder commented to the Evangelist well we got two and a half converts today. The evangelist seemed surprised and he told the elder that in his eye’s he got one and three quarters. If you look at the ages the man had about 50% of his adult life left to serve God. The elderly woman about 25% and the Child had 100% of his working life to serve God. Therefore God called forward 1.75% working lives into service that day.” Dennis Davenport, Pastor. I finally understood the parable of the vineyard workers.; “10 Now when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more, but each of them also received a denarius. 11 And on receiving it they grumbled at the master of the house, 12 saying, ‘These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.’ 13 But he replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?14 Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last worker as I give to you. 15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?’ 16 So the last will be first, and the first last.”” Matthew 20:10 - 16. Thus we finish the Book of Leviticus, and move forward to the New Testament Feast. Just because it’s Easter it is a great time to share God’s Love.; “For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 ESV.
Do you want to be free and in Saintly Service? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com or if you want a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com
