God Knows The Heart!

God Knows The Heart!

  June 25, 2013 – Job 4

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 4; Eliphaz seeing Job’s condition judges him guilty of angering God.  Eliphaz assumes that God's is punishing Job. Eliphaz has a vision that further convinces him of Job’s sin.  “20 Between morning and evening they are beaten to pieces;
    they perish forever without anyone regarding it.
21 Is not their tent-cord plucked up within them,
    do they not die, and that without wisdom? Job 4:20-21 English Standard Version (ESV).  If we didn’t have the Word of God would we be telling Job to repent?  When we see people in trouble, sick or dirty do we assume that they don’t know Jesus?  “Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.  Jeremiah 23:24 ESV  Rather than passing judgment when we see a person in trouble we should realize that only God knows their heart.   We would be wise to offer help or prayer, telling them that Jesus loves them and has their back.  Remember God knows the heart of all men including ours.
He loves you, Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes please click the following link;

No Hope Without Jesus!

No Hope Without Jesus!

  June 24, 2013 – Job 3

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully begin our Feast in Job 3;  Job complains that he was born. He talks like a man who had never known God.  “25 For the thing that I fear comes upon me,
    and what I dread befalls me.
26 I am not at ease, nor am I quiet;
    I have no rest, but trouble comes.” Job 3:25-26 English Standard Version (ESV).  Many years ago I had a loved one who got hooked on drugs. The drug was so addicting that this person did crimes against their own family, and abandoned loved ones for the drug.   As I sought the Lord in prayer and went from one organization to another looking for help all of them had one thing in common.  They all said; unless a person want’s help there is nothing that could be done.  My wife and I continued to pray and seek God in the name of Jesus.  A place called The Walter Hoving Home (a Christian non-government establishment) said that if she would just ask for their help they would take her in. They didn’t say anything about if she really wanted help or if she wanted to know Jesus, all she had to do was choose them over jail. Looking at a long sentence that was a no brainer for her, she asked to be transferred from Jail to the home.  A long sentence was imposed by the Judge, however if she would go immediately into the eighteen month program at the home. Stay for all eighteen months and finish their program she would finish her sentence on parole.  She happily chose the program.  She hated it; however the punishment she faced for leaving was so bad she chose to stay.  Each day she started out with mandatory bible study, prayer, self-examination and whatever job she had to do as part of the housekeeping for the Home.  She was brought up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus as a young lady long before she started drugs. Even though she wasn’t faithful Jesus was. “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.  2 Thessalonians 3:3 ESV  After six months in the program she renewed her relationship with Jesus and finished the eighteen month program without problems.  That was about fifteen years ago.  She went back to college got a bachelor’s degree.  She married and is still trusting Jesus today.  She strayed from Jesus he never abandoned her.  Without Jesus there is no hope!
Softly and sweetly, Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes please click the following link;

Faith Building

Faith Building!

  June 23, 2013 – Job 1 & 2

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully begin our Feast in Job 1 & 2;  We begin our week building our faith, with a double header. “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 ESV
Job an overview; “This book is so called from Job, whose prosperity, afflictions, and restoration, are here recorded. He lived soon after Abraham, or perhaps before that patriarch. Most likely it was written by Job himself, and it is the most ancient book in existence. The instructions to be learned from the patience of Job, and from his trials, are as useful now, and as much needed as ever. We live under the same Providence, we have the same chastening Father, and there is the same need for correction unto righteousness. The fortitude and patience of Job, though not small, gave way in his severe troubles; but his faith was fixed upon the coming of his Redeemer, and this gave him stedfastness and constancy, though every other dependence, particularly the pride and boast of a self-righteous spirit, was tried and consumed. Another great doctrine of the faith, particularly set forth in the book of Job, is that of Providence. It is plain, from this history, that the Lord watched over his servant Job with the affection of a wise and loving father.” -  Matthew Henry’s Concise
God’s Word builds faith (Romans 10:17) and (Matthew 4:4) feeds the spirit.And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.  Deuteronomy 8:3 ESV.  Let us continue together reading God’s Word and sharing Jesus.
Softly and sweetly, Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes please click the following link;

28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.  Romans 8:28-29 ESV
