Here in Numbers Chapter 4 we see God speaking to Moses several times. “1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:..” Numbers 4:1, NKJV. Then again in verse 17; “17 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:..” Numbers 4:17, NKJV. He speaks to moses once more in verse “21 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:..” Numbers 4:21, NKJV. I think most people would say; “If the Lord spoke to me like He did to Moses then I would believe”. If God spoke to to you would you really believe? The truth is God has spoken to you if not before then right now; “20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20 NKJV. God is not willing that any should perish and he will continue to call as long as there is a chance you will answer. “9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.” 2 Peter 3:9-10 NKJV. Then if you have failed to answer that call for the last time he will quit calling. “22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Romans 1:22-25 NKJV. If you still wonder or this bothers your conscious it is not too late to believe and join him in a relationship. “9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 NKJV. If you have already answered God’s call you know his love for you. If not, know this; IT IS NOT TOO LATE! “18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” 1 Peter 1:18-19 NKJV. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Numbers Chapter 3; “The sons of Aaron, The Levites taken instead of the first-born. (1-13) The Levites numbered by their families, Their duties. (14-39) The first-born are numbered. (40-51)– Matthew Henry Concise. Not everyone who claims to know and worship the Lord serves him faithfully in truth. “3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, whom he consecrated to minister as priests. 4 Nadab and Abihu had died before the Lord when they offered profane fire before the Lord in the Wilderness of Sinai; and they had no children. So Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests in the presence of Aaron their father.” Numbers 3:3-4, NKJV. These type of things go on today. There are many religions that offer strange offerings before God. They work to lead many away from the grace of God; “22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:22-23 NKJV. Be careful whom you worship with. Build Your House on the Rock “24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:” Matthew 7:24 NKJV. Make sure that they worship Jesus who paid the full price to overcome death. Jesus gave this commission to all who (that is you Saint) would believe and join him in a relationship. “15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15-16, NKJV. Make sure you are praising the only son of God, he gave his life freely to pay “in full” for our sin. “11 For it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God."” Romans 14:11 NKJV. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Numbers Chapter 1; "This book is called NUMBERS from the several numberings of the people contained in it. It extends from the giving of the law at Sinai, till their arrival in the plains of Jordan. An account is given of their murmuring and unbelief, for which they were sentenced to wander in the wilderness nearly forty years; also some laws, both, moral and ceremonial. Their trials greatly tended to distinguish the wicked and hypocrites from the faithful and true servants of God, who served him with a pure heart. The numbering of the Israelites. (1-43) The number of the people. (44-46) The Levites not numbered with the rest. (47-54)" & Chapter 2 “The order of the tribes in their tents.” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today we begin in Numbers Chapters 1 and 2. These numbers show us that god accounts for every person. “1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying: 2 "Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of names, every male individually,” Numbers 1:1-2, NKJV.
