Today's FeastJune 26, 2015 – Numbers 24Why Read The Feast?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
““Be
kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God
in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians
4:32
English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Numbers Chapter
24;
“Balak's
sacrifice, Balaam pronounces a blessing instead of a curse. (1-10)
Balak's disappointment, and second sacrifice, Balaam again blesses
Israel. (11-30)”
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today’s
Feast reminds us how easy and insightful it seems to read God’s
Word. “2
And
Balaam lifted up his eyes and saw Israel camping tribe by tribe.
And the Spirit of God came upon him, 3
and
he took up his discourse and said, “The
oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye
is opened, 4
the
oracle of him who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of
the almighty,
falling down with his eyes uncovered:
Numbers
24:2-4,
English Standard Version (ESV). It’s inspiring, insightful, full
of wisdom and encouragement. So why do we have “The
Feast”,
a daily guide that takes us through every word in the Bible about
every three years. The first thing I think of it’s nice to study
together, in an organized manner and we have a shared prayer
list.
That however would just scratch the surface. “And
he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which
you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make
you know that man does not live
by
bread
alone,
but man lives
by
every
word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.”
Deuteronomy
8:3
ESV.
That’s as example of the importance of reading God’s Word from
the Old Testament. As we continue our Feast we see the Old
Testament agrees with the New; “3
And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of
God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But he
answered, “It is written, “‘Man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from
the mouth of God.’” 5 Then the devil took him to the holy city
and set him on the pinnacle of the temple”
Matthew
4:3-5
ESV. We learn how the law points to sin but it doesn’t pay for
it. It’s paid for in blood by Jesus for our sin debt. “16
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever
believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.“
John
3:16
ESV. The Feast serves to constantly build our Faith; “So
faith
comes
from hearing,
and hearing
through
the word of Christ.”
Romans
10:17
ESV.
We
never ask for money, Jesus is our reward, and this only begins to
scratch the surface of why the Feast. “For
you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s
womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
Psalm
139:13-14
ESV.
That
is why we read the feast!
I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. Lord
willing I will post and send the Feast again
tomorrow.
Is
Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call?
Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a
relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the
Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin,
when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint;
“36
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels
of heaven, but My Father only.”
Matthew
24:36
ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not
wait while you try to change anything. If the answer is yes to
any of these questions please click the following link;

How Do I Know What's True?
Today's FeastJune 25, 2015 – Numbers 23How Do I Know?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“24
Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him?
declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the
Lord.”
Jeremiah
23:24,
English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Numbers Chapter
23;
“Balak's
sacrifice, Balaam pronounces a blessing instead of a curse. (1-10)
Balak's disappointment, and second sacrifice, Balaam again blesses
Israel. (11-30)”
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today’s
Feast points out that our God is righteous. “19
God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he
should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has
he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?”
Numbers
23:19,
ESV. God says that He is; “I Am, God almighty”; “17
When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram
and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be
blameless,”
Genesis
17:1,
ESV. God's Word also points out that Jesus is God in the flesh
and there is no other way to reach
God
except
through Jesus.
“6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John
14:6
ESV. God
makes it very clear who Jesus is;
“5
He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed
them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son,
with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.””
Matthew
17:5,
ESV. Don't
believe anyone who may say; “Jesus is not the only true son of
God”, even if they say an angel told them. “8
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a
gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be
accursed.”
Galatians
1:8,
ESV.
What
they teach relies NOT
on the Holy Spirit, if
it needs
another document to explain God's Holy Word it
isn't true;
“7
not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you
and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an
angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the
one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said
before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel
contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed”
Galatians
1:7-9,
ESV. I
know because I prayed and relied on the Holy Spirit to interpret
the whole Word of God to me. If your not already reading a
chapter a day with us, I would suggest you take fifteen minutes a
day and join us as we pray and read every word in God's
Holy Word.
Be sure to check The
Feast

I
send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord is
willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow.
