Faith and Hope in God!

The Best of The  Feast

Mar. 28, 2016 1 Chronicles 5
Faith and Hope in God!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.  1 Timothy 2:5-6, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 5; “Genealogies.

- This chapter gives some account of the two tribes and a half seated on the east side of Jordan. They were made captives by the king of Assyria, because they had forsaken the Lord. Only two things are here recorded concerning these tribes. 1. They all shared in a victory. Happy is that people who live in harmony together, who assist each other against the common enemies of their souls, trusting in the Lord, and calling upon him. 2. They shared in captivity. They would have the best land, not considering that it lay most exposed. The desire of earthly objects draws to a distance from God's ordinances, and prepares men for destruction - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 5.  We see hope here where the people have the faith to call on God.  “20 And when they prevailed over them, the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hands, for they cried out to God in the battle, and he granted their urgent plea because they trusted in him.1 Chronicles 5:20, ESV.  They are in war and they have the hope that God will save them.  That is they have the faith that God will save them.  When I see persons with no hope it is because they do not have faith in God.  “10 in this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.1 John 4:10, ESV.  Those that have discovered the love of God have hope.  If there is no faith in God then there is no hope. Because we have faith in and love for God we keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  This faith in God’s love, gives us hope for all things in God.  If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.
  God Bless You,
Brother Mike

Honorable Saints?

The Best of The Feast

Happy Easter

Mar. 27, 2016 1 Chronicles 4
Honorable Saints?

Hello to my entire brother, sisters and those who will be.  Starting 03/26/2016 as we are well into our fourth time through every word in God’s Word I will bring forth The Feast from the last ten years edited as necessary. I will publish the Feast as “The Best of The Feast” because I turn seventy years old on April 15th, 2016 and don’t want to retire.  I will continue posting The Best of The Feast as long as I am able or until Jesus calls us home.

7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Psalm 62:7, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 4 ; “ Genealogies.

- In this chapter we have a further account of Judah, the most numerous and most famous of all the tribes; also an account of Simeon. The most remarkable person in this chapter is Jabez…  - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today as we are prayerfully reading, 1 Chronicles 4we see a man named Jabez.  The scripture say’s that Jabez was an honorable man, in fact it say’s he was more honorable than his brothers.  Why does the scripture say that about him?  Let’s look at this verse; “10 Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.1 Chronicles 4:10, ESV.  We see that he is honorable in that he calls on God, to bless him without pain.  I think it was more than just asking God to bless him.  I think when he asked God he really expected an answer.  I think he must have also loved all who lived in his borders.  “34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”John 13:34-35, ESV.  When we call in God the first thing we have to ask ourselves is this honorable thing I am seeking from God?  Will this honor God and be a blessing to those around us?  We must believe that God will answer our prayers! Then look for the answer, be ready for God’s answer and if the answer is no; we need to know that our request no matter what we may think was outside of God’s will.  Let’s keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  Keep our sights on and our faith in Jesus, and then we will be honorable saints.  Our love for one another is how the world will see God’s love in us.  If the Lord is willing I will post and send The Best of The Feast again tomorrow.
We pray that you will accept Jesus as your savior? If the answer is yes you need fellow-ship. If you want to correspond with me I would love to hear from you mailto:mike@admenu.com. If you accept Jesus right now, you begin a new relationship and a new life. So put Jesus at the helm for your new destination, God makes it simple. Christ Centered Life!

The Best of The Feast

Mar. 26, 2016 1 Chronicles 3
Christ Centered Life!

29 For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, Philippians 1:29, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 3; “Genealogies.

- Of all the families of Israel, none were so illustrious as the family of David: here we have a full account of it. From this family, as concerning the flesh, Christ came. The attentive observer will perceive that the children of the righteous enjoy many advantages.” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we are prayerfully reading, 1 Chronicles 3. Here we see the lineage of all the families of David king of Israel.  Jesus the Christ as promised by God and witnessed by the Holy Word came from this blood line.  All the children raised in the righteousness of God enjoy many benefits. “1 These are the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, by Ahinoam the Jezreelite; the second, Daniel, by Abigail the Carmelite, 2 the third, Absalom, whose mother was Maacah1 Chronicles 3:1-2, ESV.  We have witnessed again and again God never changes.  Doesn’t it stand to reason the children of Christian parents, raised and taught in the righteousness of Jesus still benefit?   [For God So Loved the World] “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16, ESV.   Saints, the child raised in a Christian home, where the laws of God set the standard, will grow up keeping the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb. “13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord,
and great shall be the peace of your children.
Isaiah 54:13, ESV.  If you truly want the best for your children, raise them in a Jesus centered home.  If the Lord is willing I will post and send The Best of The Feast again tomorrow.

Love and Light!

Today’s Feast

Mar. 25, 2016 1 Chronicles 2
Love and Light!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 2; “Genealogies.

- We are now come to the register of the children of Israel, that distinguished people, who were to dwell alone, and not be reckoned among the nations. But now, in Christ, all are welcome to his salvation who come to him; all have equal privileges according to their faith in him, their love and devotedness to him. All that is truly valuable consists in the favour, peace, and image of God, and a life spent to his glory, in promoting the welfare of our fellow-creatures. - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we are prayerfully reading, 1 Chronicles 2.  It is important to know our family tree.  Now in this chapter of 1st Chronicles we are reading the register of the children of Israel. These are the people, who dwelled alone, and not counted with the nations. “54 The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites. 55 The clans also of the scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites and the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.1 Chronicles 2:54-55, ESV.  Now however, all persons are able to accept Jesus, we are part of those who have come to Him.  Just as the disciples, we all are equal, being born in the faith in Jesus.  All who truly repent of their sin and ask Jesus to be Lord of their lives.  We glorify God in the love of Jesus; “it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.q1 Corinthians 13: 6-7, ESV.   It is all for God’s purpose that we share this faith in love.  We share Jesus in His love keeping the first thing first!  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  Our lives reflect the love and light of Jesus, for all people to see. If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.

Made For a Purpose!

Today’s Feast

Mar. 24, 2016 1 Chronicles 1
Made For a Purpose!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 1; “The books of Chronicles are, in a great measure, repetitions of what is in the books of Samuel and of the Kings, yet there are some excellent useful things in them which we find not elsewhere. The FIRST BOOK traces the rise of the Jewish people from Adam, and afterward gives an account of the reign of David. In the SECOND BOOK the narrative is continued, and relates the progress and end of the kingdom of Judah; also it notices the return of the Jews from the Babylonish captivity. Jerome says, that whoever supposes himself to have knowledge of the Scriptures without being acquainted with the books of Chronicles, deceives himself. Historical facts passed over elsewhere, names, and the connexion of passages are to be found here, and many questions concerning the gospel are explained.

Genealogies, Adam to Abraham. (1-27) The descendants of Abraham. (28-54) - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we are prayerfully reading, 1 Chronicles 1. Brother Mike; “doesn’t reading all this genealogy put you to sleep”?  On the contrary as heirs to the throne, it is important to know our family tree. “The chiefs of Edom were: chiefs Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54 Magdiel, and Iram; these are the chiefs of Edom.1 Chronicles 1:51-54, ESV.  This reading of the family tree is a faith builder.  Remember what God’s Word says; “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” “3 Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established. 4 The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.Proverbs 16:3 – 4, ESV.   It is God’s purpose for us to share the Feast Saints, this way we read every Word that God gave us in this Holy Bible in about every three years.  We should continue keeping the first thing first! That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb. Remember the Lord made everything for a purpose. If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.

Today’s Feast

Mar. 23, 2016 2 Kings 25
Share Wherever & With Whomever!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.  James 1:12, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 2 Kings, Chapter 25; “Jerusalem besieged, Zedekiah taken. (1-7) The temple burnt, The people carried into captivity. (8-21) The rest of the Jews flee into Egypt, Evil-merodach relieves the captivity of Jehoiachin. (22-30)  ” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we are prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 25.  After 37 years King Jehoiachin was released out of prison. No person can say that that their life will not be good again, because no person can know the mind of God. In our world today Jesus brings about freedom from sin. Sin is the cancer that hurts us; Jesus alone can free sinners. “29 So Jehoiachin put off his prison garments. And every day of his life he dined regularly at the king’s table, 30 and for his allowance, a regular allowance was given him by the king, according to his daily needs, as long as he lived.2nd Kings 25:29-30, ESV.  We can never know the mind of God; however his purpose for us is conveyed in God’s Holy Word. “15 for you will be a witness for him to everyone of what you have seen and heard. 16 And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’Acts 22:15-16, ESV.  That is God’s purpose for us Saints we are a witness for Jesus!   Let your lamp burn brightly keeping the first thing first!  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  Let’s continue to share Gods love, wherever we go, with whomever we meet. If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.
