Lord’s Eternal Covenant

Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

“3 The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.”” John 10:3 New King James Version (NKJV)

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 33
Verses 1-13 Those who expect to receive comforts from God, must call upon him. Promises are given, not to do away, but to quicken and encourage prayer. These promises lead us to the gospel of Christ; and in that God has revealed truth to direct us, and peace to make us easy. All who by sanctifying grace are cleansed from the filth of sin, by pardoning mercy are freed from the guilt. When sinners are thus justified, washed, and sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Holy Spirit, they are enabled to walk before God in peace and purity. Many are led to perceive the real difference between the people of God and the world around them, and to fear the Divine wrath. It is promised that the people who were long in sorrow, shall again be filled with joy. Where the Lord gives righteousness and peace, he will give all needful supplies for temporal wants; and all we have will be comforts, as sanctified by the word and by prayer.
Verses 14-26 To crown the blessings God has in store, here is a promise of the Messiah. He imparts righteousness to his church, for he is made of God to us righteousness; and believers are made the righteousness of God in him. Christ is our Lord God, our righteousness, our sanctification, and our redemption. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. But in this world prosperity and adversity succeed each other, as light and darkness, day and night. The covenant of priesthood shall be secured. And all true believers are a holy priesthood, a royal priesthood, they offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God; themselves, in the first place, as living sacrifices. The promises of that covenant shall have full accomplishment in the gospel Israel. In Galatians 6:16, all that walk according to the gospel rule, are made to be the Israel of God, on whom shall be peace and mercy. Let us not despise the families which were of old the chosen people of God, though for a time they seem to be cast off.”  –  Matthew Henry Concise Commentary  “23 Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, 24 “Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying, ‘The two families which the Lord has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.

25 “Thus says the Lord: ‘If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth, 26 then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’”” Jeremiah 33:23-26  NKJV Dear Saint Jesus paid the full price to redeem you, (see Romans 5:7-9 ) so when you catch yourself in a sin be quick to repent and call on God in the name of Jesus for forgiveness. “19 The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments. “ Habakkuk 3:19 NKJV.  Now we share God’s gift Jesus (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) cheerfully with love to all our neighbors.  Let us put all sin, filthiness, and rampant wickedness behind us (see James 1:21-23) because Jesus ransomed us to be doers of God’s Word and not hearers only
If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

“14 But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” Psalm 31:14 New King James Version (NKJV)

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 32. While imprisoned for his prophecy and during the siege God tells Jeremiah, to buy a field (see Jeremiah 32:1-15) He obeys God for it is a confirmation that the land will be returned.  Jeremiah prays as the Chaldeans overtake the city (see Jeremiah 32:16-25) confirming his faith in God’s laws, providence and promises.  God shows the reason for His wrath against this generation of Jews (see Jeremiah 32:26-44) and promises that for the later generations he shall make whole and be their God. “42 “For thus says the Lord: ‘Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them. 43 And fields will be bought in this land of which you say, “It is desolate, without man or beast; it has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.” 44 Men will buy fields for money, sign deeds and seal them, and take witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South; for I will cause their captives to return,’ says the Lord.”” Jeremiah 31:38-40  NKJV.  If we find ourselves under trials we should take heart, (see 1 Peter 5:10 ) by grace Jesus will carry us through all trials.  Our Lord Jesus laid plans for us from the beginning; “2 Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. 4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night.“  Psalm 90:2,4  NKJV.  He is our God; Jesus was with God and he is God (see John 1:1-5 ) there isn’t one thing made without Jesus. Think about what we gave up to follow Jesus (see 1 Corinthians 15:53) as it turns out it is what we can’t keep by any means. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

God Turns Mourning to Joy

Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!
Dear Saints, A truck hit me as I crossed the street yesterday.  Praise Jesus my wife who was walking next to me was not hit.  I am very sore this morning so I’m bringing forward an old feast without much editing, please pray for everyone involved in this accident.

“18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” 1 John 4:18

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 31. God says he will restore the covenant with Israel (see Jeremiah 31:1-9) He will hear their plea and gather them from all the earth.  God scattered His People for a time (see Jeremiah 31:10-17) when their time comes God will gather them back.   Then Judah will sing God’s praises (see Jeremiah 31:21-26) because of God’s grace they will dwell together again.  The new covenant (see Jeremiah 31:27-34) is really God’s promise of the coming Messiah Jesus.  God’s promise to Abraham will be fulfilled; His people will gather together forever (see Jeremiah 31:35-40) and by the grace of God thru the coming Messiah Jesus we are adopted into God’s family. “38 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when the city shall be rebuilt for the LORD from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. 39 And the measuring line shall go out farther, straight to the hill Gareb, and shall then turn to Goah. 40 The whole valley of the dead bodies and the ashes, and all the fields as far as the brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be sacred to the LORD. It shall not be uprooted or overthrown anymore forever.”” Jeremiah 31:38-40  English Standard Versions (ESV).  God will reward those who accepts Jesus (see Matthew 3:8-10 ) each one according to their fruits. Let every believer stay true to Jesus; “17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith–that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. “  Ephesians 3:17-19 ESV.   Because we were saved by Jesus (not of ourselves) we understand what it is to be slaves to sin; (seeColossians 1:21-23therefor we should be steadfast in encouraging others to accept Jesus.  Remember God is not willing (see 2 Peter 3:9) that anyone should perish in their sin.  Salvation is here for anyone who will accept God’s gift to whoever (see John 3:16) is willing to accept Jesus.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
