Monday, December 22, 2008 Exodus 1

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Exodus 1.  This week we celebrate the most awesome gift to all the world.  And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”- Luke 2:8-11.  You can contact me at mlitew8@yahoo.com, for prayer http://www.forthecross.com/ . Lord willing I’ll send the feast again tomorrow.

“He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands shall wait for His law." - Isa 42:4

Do not wait to clean up or do better or finish anything ask Jesus just as you are!  If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus here is what you need to do ask Jesus in prayer like this.  “ Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I need you as my personal Savior. I here and now open my heart to you. I invite you to come in. Forgive me all my sins and make me your child. I receive your gift of eternal life and thank you for it. Help me live for you every day of my life. Amen.”

An Overview Exodus
“The Book of Exodus relates the forming of the children of Israel into a church and a nation. We have hitherto seen true religion shown in domestic life, now, we begin to trace its effects upon the concerns of kingdoms and nations. Exodus signifies "the departure;" the chief event therein recorded is the departure of Israel from Egypt and Egyptian bondage; it plainly points out the fulfilling of several promises and prophecies to Abraham respecting his seed, and shadows forth the state of the church, in the wilderness of this world, until her arrival at the heavenly Canaan, an eternal rest.” - Henrys’ Concise
