Today's FeastJune 23, 2015 – Numbers 21Why Should I Forgive Them?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“31
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They
shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be
weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah
40:31
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Numbers Chapter
21;
“The
Canaanites of Arad destroyed. (1-3)
The people murmuring, are plagued with fiery serpents, They
repenting, are healed through the brazen serpent. (4-9)
Further journeys of the Israelites. (10-20)
Sihon and Og overcome, Their land possessed. (21-35)”
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today’s
Feast reminds us how easy it is to sin against God even after he
has blessed us. “4
Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to
go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very
discouraged on the way. 5 And the people spoke against God and
against Moses: "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to
die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our
soul loathes this worthless bread." 6 So the Lord sent fiery
serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of
the people of Israel died.”
Numbers
21:4-6,
NKJV. Even when God’s people fall into sin and are punished by
God, if they turn from their sin back to Him
he will provide a way out. “7
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, "We have
sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray
to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us." So Moses
prayed for the people. 8 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Make a
fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone
who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live."”
Numbers
21:7-8
NKJV. Sin entered into the world by one man, Adam. Sin was paid
for by the Only Son of God! That is why we keep the first thing
salvation first. Salvation
paid
for in blood by Jesus for our sin debt. “32
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
just as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians
4:32,
NKJV. Do
you need to forgive anyone? I
send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me.
If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow.
Is
Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call?
Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a
relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the
Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin,
when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint;
“36
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels
of heaven, but My Father only.”
Matthew
24:36
NKJV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do
not wait while you try to change anything. If the answer is yes
