Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 7; “Noah, and his family and the living creatures, enter the ark, and the flood begins. (1-12) Noah shut in the ark. (13-16) The increase of the flood for forty days. (17-20) All flesh is destroyed by the flood. (21-24)” - Matthew Henry Concise Here in the New Year 2015, we read the Feast we see man’s sin corrupt the world. God’s mercy shortening the time man has to live in a world of sin and the solution for a sinful world; “23 He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark. 24And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days.”  Genesis 7:23-24  New King James Version (NKJV). There is more mercy to this than we understand. When sin abounds a long life in it without God is torture. Remember God created us in their image, which implies we would live life eternal. If our Lord is does not tolerate sin so to you and I living “in his image”, sin would soon come unbearable. God is not a torturer. So God sacrificed his only begotten Son who lived here in the flesh without sin. For those who accept God’s gift receive life unending without sin; “16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.“ John 3:16 NKJV.
