June 3, 2013 – II Corinthians 2 & 3

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in II Corinthians 2 & 3.  I know that’s two chapters they are short but powerful.  What a wonderful thing it would be, to be in this triumphal procession!  Following Jesus with all our hearts; “14 But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. 15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.” II Corinthians.  2:14-16 ESV.  I wonder if Paul would to say the same things if he was writing this letter to us?  Are we Saints of sincerity touting God’s Word?  Whatever your called to do remember; “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” . Proverbs 15:1 ESV.  Whatever your position in the body of Christ remember we are all Jesus’ Ambassadors!

3 As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine, 4 nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith. 5 The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” 1 Timothy 1:3-5 ESV.
