7th Year 11-12 Edition 3Mar15-NUM 18 l The Feast l May 8_2012 Numbers 18 Dear Saints, This today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Numbers 18. Today’s Feast lifts me up, I feel like I can rejoice in the Lord always. Again rejoicing in every way! Regarding the first seven verses in today’s Feast, Matthew Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary said; “The people complained of their difficulty and peril in drawing near to God. God here gives them to understand, that the priests should come near for them. Aaron would see reason not to be proud of his preferment, when he considered the great care and charge upon him. Be not high-minded, but fear. The greater the trust of work and power that is committed to us, the greater danger there is of betraying that trust. This is a good reason why we should neither envy others' honours, nor desire high places.” Regarding the disciples position in the new world with Jesus, Jesus said; “28 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Matthew 19:28-30, English Standard Version (ESV). That’s another clear sign that God chooses the priests that serve him. My personal thought is whatever position we are in within salvation we should be content. Have you ever really thought about being genuinely happy for others. It is something that truly will make you feel good. This is just another reason we keep salvation through the blood of the Lamb as issue number one. We are supposed to share God’s love with every person. “Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” Colossians 4:5-6 ESV. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36.
