To Judge or Love?

Today's Feast

Aug. 17, 2015 – Luke 6
To Judge or Love?
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. W e will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!Psalm 33:12, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 6; “The disciples pluck corn on the sabbath. (1-5) Works of mercy suitable to the sabbath day. (6-11) The apostles chosen. (12-19) Blessings and woes declared. (20-26) Christ exhorts to mercy. (27-36) And to justice and sincerity. (37-49)." - Matthew Henry Concise.

Jesus did not save us so that we can judge others. Jesus saved us so that we could carry the good news to a world lost in sin “37 “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; 38 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”Luke 6:37-38, ESV. Some people say that this is speaking of money. I believe it about love and faith; “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16, ESV. Our God is strong not hateful. Even the Old Testament tells us that loving your neighbor is in order with God’s law; “18 You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.Leviticus 19:18, ESV. That is why we keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Our salvation depends completely on God! Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.; admenu.com/calling.html
