Today’s Feast
We Are Called To What Purpose?
Oct. 10, 2013 – Psalms 68
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our
Feast reading Psalms 68. David’s hymn lives in this 35th verse of psalm 68. “35 Awesome is God from his sanctuary;
the God of Israel—he is
the one who gives power and strength to his people.
Blessed be God!” Psalm 68:35 - English Standard Version (ESV). When we praise our God is an awesome God we
are really giving Him all the glory. The gift of salvation from Jesus is from
everlasting to everlasting. God is the
joy of His people! When you are trying
to quantify just how awesome is our God try figuring out how far east is from
west. “12 as far as the east
is from the west,
so far does he remove
our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12 ESV. The love of Jesus
is beyond measure! “Listen
to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord
that will stand.” Proverbs 19:20-21 ESV. Jesus gives our life perfect and immeasurable
purpose!
Jesus is calling sinner come home. He will not call forever! Do you want to find out how awesome our God
is? Do you want to find peace and
purpose? If the answer is yes please
