What’s Your Hurry?

Oct. 28, 2013 – Psalms 86

Psalms Chapter 86 - The psalmist pleads his earnestness, and the mercy of God, as reasons why his prayer should be heard. (1-7) He renews his requests for help and comfort. (8-17)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 86.  The psalmist is calling on God to search his heart.  He is beseeching God for grace, love and salvation.  16 Turn to me and be gracious to me;
    give your strength to your servant,
    and save the son of your maidservant.
17 Show me a sign of your favor,
    that those who hate me may see and be put to shame
    because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.”   Psalm 86:12-13 - English Standard Version (ESV).  Look around Saints, what is the condition of our land?  Is it pleasing to God? What is it we need to pray for in the name of Jesus?  If you’re not saved ask God to save you before it is too late.  Have you walked in your own wisdom away from Jesus (See Colossians 3:5-6)?   Any time lived away from or without God is wasted. “for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25   ESV.  The most important thing you can do for yourself and your family is to draw nearer to God.  There is no reason, to live in sin Jesus overcame death for the sin of the world (See Romans 1:19-20).  Sin is spiritual cancer and the wages of sin are Death (See Romans 6:23)!   Accept God’s gift and join us in the harvest.

Lord please forgive our sins, draw near to us and let us draw near to You.  Hallelujah! Amen!

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12   ESV.
