The
Best of the Feast
Jun. 25, 2017 – Jeremiah 5
The Lord Proclaims Judgment
“28 But rebels and
sinners shall be broken together, and those who forsake the Lord shall be
consumed.” Isaiah 1:28 New King James Version (NKJV).
Please join with us sharing
God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading
every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue
our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 5. God’s people have become hypocrites (see Jeremiah
5:1-9) they are not glorifying
God. The Lord proclaims judgment (see Jeremiah
5:10-18) for the house of Israel and
the house of Judah. God is angry at his people, they are deceitful
and wicked (see Jeremiah
5:19-31) they are not a righteous
people who trust in the Lord. “31 The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority,
and my people love it this way. But what will you do in the end? “ Jeremiah 5:31 NKJV. In everything we say or do we
should be lovingly (see Matthew
22:35-41) pleasing the LORD and
lovingly reaching out to all of God’s creation. “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving
one another, as God in Christ forgave you. “ Ephesians 4:32 ESV. When
we are trusting God and reaching out others in sincere love (see 1 Corinthians
13:1-3), we are pleasing Jesus. If the Lord is willing I will write
and post the Feast tomorrow
