What If
God’s Word Is Offensive?
July
2, 2013 – Job 11
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast reading Job 11. Zophar believes
Job has sinned and admonishes Job to repent. He speaks of God's excellences
and immense supremacy. Zophar tells Job that God will bless him if he were to repent; “19 You will lie down, and none will make you afraid;
many
will court your favor.
20 But the eyes of the wicked will fail;
all way
of escape will be lost to them,
and
their hope is to breathe their last.”” Job 11:19,
20 English Standard Version (ESV). Ut would seem that Zophar has it
right considering the appearance of Job’s life. I’m sure this happens a lot when men appear
o be under attack from Satan. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can
understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every
man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”” Jeremiah 17:9-10 ESV.
We ourselves may look at a person under attack and believe in our
hearts that it is because they are sinning.
Believe me when I say; we cannot know the way of God’s heart. It’s true; there is always room for
repentance. Rather than judging a
person we should be praying for God’s will to be done in their life. Continue
to keep the faith, share God’s love. Never
apologize for God’s Word. If anyone is
offended by the scripture; they are offended by God and not us. Keep watch Jesus is coming in the blink of
an eye to receive us.
Jesus paid for your sin. Jesus is calling! Do you hear
that small voice calling; sinner com home?
Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes please

“[ Gifts of Grace ] For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among
you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think
with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has
assigned.” Romans 12:3
ESV.
