Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 25 - Confidence in prayer. (1-7) Prayer for remission of sins. (8-14) For help in affliction. (15-22)- Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 25.  David expresses his confidence in prayer, and remission of sin.  He sees redemption as the bottom line.“22 Redeem Israel, O God,
    out of all his troubles.   Psalms 25:22 - English Standard Version (ESV).   For you and I Saint the bottom line is; There is only one name under heaven by which men are saved and that is Jesus!

 “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today, if you hear his voice, Psalm 95:6-7 ESV.

The Lord Jesus calls.  Today is the day of salvation!  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;

Who Is Jesus To Me?

August 30, 2013 – Psalms 23 & 24

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 23 - “ Confidence in God's grace and care- Matthew Henry Concise
Psalms Chapter 24 - “Concerning the kingdom of Christ, and the subjects of that kingdom. (1-6) Concerning the King of that kingdom. (7-10)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 23 & 24.  First in chapter 23 we hear David expressing his confidence in the Lord personally.  Then on chapter 24 he confesses the earth and fullness thereof is God’s property.  In it he also goes on to say that the believer will be blessed by God. “5 He will receive blessing from the Lord
    and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
    who seek the face of the God of Jacob.   Psalms 24:5-6 - English Standard Version (ESV).   I hear these verses quoted at many funerals.  Not wholly because the person speaking believes it.  It’s quoted because it comforts the family and friends. That’s why it is read!  There are many that believe that Jesus is God.  Many also tremble and die in their sins because they don’t ask Jesus into their hearts.  Do you know for sure who Jesus is?  The prayers of others won’t get you into the kingdom of glory.  It’s up to you; God neither fools nor forces any soul.  Call on Jesus today!

 “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,Ephesians 2:19 ESV.

Do not perish (See 2 Peter 3:9 ) in sin.  Today is the day of salvation!  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;

There is only one name under heaven by which men are saved and that is Jesus!  If you share this Feast with us every day you will read God’s Word a chapter or two a day.  In about three years you will have read every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

August 29, 2013 – Psalms 22

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 22 - “Complaints of discouragement. (1-10) With prayer for deliverance. (11-21) Praises for mercies and redemption. (22-31)- Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 22.  When we began to read the psalm we can feel the discouragement in the heart of David.  Suddenly we hear the prayer to God.  Our Psalm ends with praise for God.  “29 All the prosperous of the earth eat and worship;
    before him shall bow all who go down to the dust,
    even the one who could not keep himself alive.
30 Posterity shall serve him;
    it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation;
31 they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn,
    that he has done it.   Psalms 22:29-31 - English Standard Version (ESV).   I can understand how David is feeling and how his mind changes as he sings this Psalm.  I wake now and then and feel like I am far from Jesus.  Then I begin to praise him prior to my prayer.  As I do the Holy Spirit brings God’s Word it my mind and I realize that Jesus never leaves me.  My prayer ends with thanksgiving and praise.  That’s how I know we (like the psalmist) are all one in God’s family.

Jesus, calling he doesn’t want you to perish (See 2 Peter 3:9 ) in sin.  Today is the day of salvation!  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;

August 26, 2013 – Psalms 20 & 21

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 20 - “This psalm is a prayer for the kings of Israel, but with relation to Christ.- Matthew Henry Concise
Chapter 21 - “Thanksgiving for victory. (1-6) Confidence of further success. (7-13) ” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 20 & 21.  Chapter 20; This song of prayer is for the Kings relationship with God. Chapter 21; Is thanksgiving for the victory and those to come under God’s protection.  “13 Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength!
    We will sing and praise your power. “   Psalms 21:13 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Today our world is in great conflict.  Men have the audacity to pass laws that support sin.  World leaders are using chemicals to kill their own people.  Today we need to band together as the Lord’s Church and pray that our leaders will submit to Jesus.  We need to pray that they make decisions that are in harmony with God’s plan in Jesus name.

Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.   John 6:29 ESV.

Listen! Do you hear Jesus, calling? (See Revelation 3:20) Now, while you can still hear him it’s time to answer His call.  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;
