Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 8 & 9  on Saturday and 1 Corinthians 10 on Sunday.  In the 10th chapter Paul tells us how Christians should conduct themselves in their walk with Jesus.  “31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved.” 1 Corinthians 10:31-33, English Standard Version (ESV).  Sometimes Christians talk about situations they walked in before they knew Jesus. They may brag about sin and say; “I always drive 10 miles an hour over the speed limit.”  They speak these things as if they relish there sin.  They would do better talking about the grace of God, the love of Jesus or the peace of the Holy Spirit.  Because in these things they will not glorify sin or offend any person.  “19 My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, 20 let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.James 5:19-20, ESV.  Puffing ones self-up or relishing sin from our past will never lead to salvation for another.  Putting down another’s brand of religion will only offend others.  That’s why we continue to care about Jesus and his love for all people.  If we simply introduce them to the love of Jesus and the advantage of a relationship with Jesus we will win souls.  The love of God, the gift of Jesus and the power and peace of the Holy Spirit will never offend those who are seeking freedom from sins.  Thank you for sharing the love of Jesus with me and others.  Remember God is not willing that any should perish.  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
