Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 6.    Paul cautions against going to law in heathen courts.  If we the Saints are going to be judges of angels isn’t it a wonder that we can’t settle our matters within the church? Surely we can find someone in the church wise enough to make a judgment. The laws of men can’t forgive or nullify sin. Sins are like cancer to the soul, if lived and died in, they will keep us out of the kingdom of God.   Our bodies, which are the members of Christ, and temples of the Holy Ghost, must not be defiled. “18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, English Standard Version (ESV).  Am I talking out of church or do we know what sin is?   Sin is any act or thought that is contrary to God! The sin that goes on unrepentant in a person’s life separates them from God. “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”  1 Corinthians 6:9-11, ESV.  Saints understand this we have been forgiven of every sin we every committed when we repent and ask Jesus into our life.  If you were cleaned from cancer would you try to get it back?  No!  Cancer kills the body just as sin kills our spirit.  Any believer who turns back to their sin is likened to a dog turning back to its vomit. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, let’s not grieve Him.  God has a purpose for your life let’s avoid sinful thought, because that’s what leads to the act of sinning.  Enjoy Jesus’ righteousness, yield to the Holy Spirit because that leads us to glory!  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
