Our Lord Reigns!

(10-13)” - Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 96.  Once again; The Psalmist is encouraging God’s people to raise their voices in praise.  He reminds us that in the end God is our leader in all things.  “11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;     let the sea roar, and all that fills it; 12     let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy 13     before the Lord, for he comes,     for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness,     and the peoples in his faithfulness.”  Psalm 96:11-13 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Let the world and everything in it rejoice in the name of Jesus (See Psalm 27:4), may we dwell in the house of the Lord forever.  God is our king; “9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.”  Ephesians 1:9-10  ESV.  Through our Jesus we can approach God in prayer;  “38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. ”  Romans 8:38-39 ESV.  Jesus paid for our sin once and for all on that cross at Calvary; we are ransomed by His blood. We can make our request known to God in the name of Jesus! Hallelujah!
