National Days of Prayer Day 14 of 40
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of I Samuel 10. Samuel anoints Saul proclaiming him as King. Saul prophesies he is among God's prophets. Saul is chosen to be king by God's people. “17 Then Samuel called the people together to the Lord at Mizpah, 18 and said to the children of Israel, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all kingdoms and from those who oppressed you.’ 19 But you have today rejected your God, who Himself saved you from all your adversities and your tribulations; and you have said to Him, ‘No, set a king over us!’ Now therefore, present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your clans.”” I Samuel 10:17-19, New King James Version (NKJV). This is where God gave them the King as they requested, they rejected God when they asked for a king. God is our King so when you vote ask God prayerfully whom to vote for. I refuse to use this blog for politics, your vote is between you and God.

40 Days of Prayer # 14 Prayer for our nation By Pastor Glen Aycock;
“
“SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 29 - (Good News Translation)
18 A nation without God's guidance is a nation without order. Happy are those who keep God's law!
19 You cannot correct servants just by talking to them. They may understand you, but they will pay no attention.
20 There is more hope for a stupid fool than for someone who speaks without thinking.
21 If you give your servants everything they want from childhood on, some day they will take over everything you own.
23 Arrogance will bring your downfall, but if you are humble, you will be respected.
25 It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you, but if you trust the Lord, you are safe.
26 Everybody wants the good will of the ruler, but only from the Lord can you get justice.
COMMENTS BY PASTOR GLEN AYCOCK:
How awesome is God’s Word. In today’s reading I see 4 main statements that should be considered priorities for a nation.
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS
Our Heavenly Father: We pray for our nation once again look and listen to you in the daily affairs of directing our country. Give us wisdom in the choice of our leaders. May we choose those who believe you have a say so in our government. We pray that actions against your instructions will be noted and defeated. We pray in the wonderful name of Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. Amen!”
