The Best of the Feast

Famine, Sword, and Pestilence

Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness,” 2 Timothy 3:16 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 15.  God tells Jerimiah; Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, my mind remains unchanged about (see Jeremiah 15:1-9) these unrepentant people.  Though Saints alive or dead pray for people they only gain forgiveness by their own repentant requests (see Acts 4:12) made in the name of Jesus.  Though Jeremiah is a man of God; (see Jeremiah 15:10-14) reminding them of God’s covenant they hate him because they love the world.  Jeremiah is filled with love for God and God’s people.  He is full of concern for their trespasses (see Jeremiah 13:12-17) and he is unable to bring about their sincere repentance.  Jeremiah is assured that the Lord would deliver him from his enemies; “20 And I will make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail over you, for I am with you to save you and deliver you, declares the Lord.  21 I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and redeem you from the grasp of the ruthless.”“ Jeremiah 15:20-21 NKJV.   As Christians, we are supposed to separate ourselves from the sin of the world (see Revelation 18:4) while carrying the message of God’s love to them.  At the same time, we are to avoid causing strife in the church.  “10 I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.“  1 Corinthians 1:10  NKJV.  Many times, strife is brought up by subjects that have (see 2 Corinthians 5:19-21) no bearing on salvation!  We have to avoid arguing over that (see Titus 3:9) which does not affect salvation.  In all things we reach out with that same love Jesus has for each of us; “1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NKJV. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
