Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast by reading Numbers Chapter 35; “The cities of the Levites. (1-8) The cities of refuge, The laws about murder. (9-34)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today we see God's Word setting up the penalties for Murder and Man Slaughter; “30 “If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the evidence of witnesses. But no person shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness. 31 Moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death. 32 And you shall accept no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may return to dwell in the land before the death of the high priest. 33 You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it. 34 You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell, for I the Lord dwell in the midst of the people of Israel.”“ Numbers 35:16-19 ESV. These very rules can be seen in the laws that cover our country. The United States of America was founded by Christians for Christians. With tolerance for those who choose not to believe. For those who choose to ignore God the penalty remains the same; “23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 ESV. God's will for all men is that they would repent of their sin and accept Jesus as the Lord of their lives; “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 ESV. Wake up America; no matter how many laws you make sin is and always will be sin! We are to love one and all the same; “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” Romans 12:10 ESV. Remembering always that only God can forgive sin; “28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Matthew 26:28, NIV. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. Lord willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow. Is Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call? Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36 ESV.
