Today's Feast
Feast
And Faith!
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. W e will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“21
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
Philippians
1:21,
English
Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue
the Feast reading Luke, Chapter
7;
“The
centurion's servant healed. (1-10)
The widow's son raised. (11-18)
John the Baptist's inquiry concerning Jesus. (19-35)
Christ anointed in the house of the Pharisee The parable of the
two debtors. (36-50)"
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
Jesus
finds a measure of faith in a centurion; “3
When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the
Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. 4 And when they
came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “He is
worthy to have you do this for him, 5 for he loves our nation, and
he is the one who built us our synagogue.” 6 And Jesus went with
them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent
friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am
not worthy to have you come under my roof. 7 Therefore I did not
presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be
healed. 8 For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers
under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another,
‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he
does it.” 9 When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him,
and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you,
not even in Israel have I found such faith.” 10 And when those
who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant
well.”
Luke
7:3-10,
ESV. What kind of faith does Jesus find in us? I know of one
thing a saint can do to help build faith. This is one of the
reasons for this Feast; “16
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord,
who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes
from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
Romans
10:16-17,
ESV. Jesus is the Word and he gave us his complete word in the
bible. Therefore prayerfully reading through the bible with or
without us in the Feast will build your faith. “35
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”
Matthew
24:35,
ESV. So let’s continue to keep the first thing first. That is
salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.
I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord
Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Our
salvation depends completely on God! Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. We
are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for
our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get
every Saint; “36
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the
angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
Matthew
24:36,
ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not
wait while you try to change anything.;
