In God We Trust, Really?

Please join with us sharing god’s word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in god’s word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 56. David turns to God, when the Philistines seized him in Gath. He performs his vows to God, offering thanksgiving.  He gives God glory for delivering his soul from death.  “10 In God (I will praise His word), In the Lord (I will praise His word), 11 In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me,”  Psalm 56:10-11 – New King James Version (NKJV). Right now, we live in Governments that are bankrupt.  Not just physically but in some instances, morally.  What do we see in a government that claims “In God We Trust” while the judges of that land are passing laws that approves what God calls a sinful abomination (See Romans 1:18-32). The politicians and industrialists would rather bankrupt the country than care for the health of all the people!  Why would God’s people put their faith in the government of any country, army or industry before God?  Like David we should truly be trusting in God, not in the institutions of men.  Trust in God because he is the only one who loves you!  “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,” Philippians 1:9-10  NKJV. if the lord is willing I will write and post the feast tomorrow.
