Feb 6, 2013 – 2 Kings 21

Dear  Saints,

Today we are prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 21.  Manasseh did what was wicked in the eyes of God. Because Manasseh king of Judah committed abominations Judah is spoiled by their enemies. The wicked reign and death of Amon; “21 He walked in all the way in which his father walked and served the idols that his father served and worshiped them. 22 He abandoned the Lord, the God of his fathers, and did not walk in the way of the Lord. 23 And the servants of Amon conspired against him and put the king to death in his house.  “2nd Kings 21:21-23 English – Standard Version (ESV).   I don’t believe we need to judge people. We need to simply point out that a Godly life is far superior to a wicked life.  Doesn’t everyone want the best for their families? “Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.” Proverbs 21:21 ESV. Psalm 18:1-2 ESV.  Let your lights shine Saints!  Whatever you do, wherever you go keep the first thing first!  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  Keep your eyes on Jesus, keep your treasure in heaven.

[The Lord Is My Rock and My Fortress] [To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, the servant of the Lord, who addressed the words of this song to the Lord on the day when the Lord rescued him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. He said:] I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:1-2 ESV
