Seek God’s Wisdom!

Today’s Feast

Nov. 22, 2015 – I Samuel 9

Seek God’s Wisdom!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.Colossians 3:15, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel Chapte 9; Saul is brought to Samuel. (1-10) Samuel told concerning Saul. (11-17) Samuel's treatment of Saul. (18-27)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

In 1 Samuel chapter 9, Saul is seeking his fathers asses at Ramah, and is brought to Samuel. God tells Samuel that Saul is to be the new king over his people. Samuel’s treats Saul good and explains Gods plan for Saul. “20 As for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not set your mind on them, for they have been found. And for whom is all that is desirable in Israel? Is it not for you and for all your father's house?” 21 Saul answered, “Am I not a Benjaminite, from the least of the tribes of Israel? And is not my clan the humblest of all the clans of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then have you spoken to me in this way?”I Samuel 9:20-21, ESV. We see a couple of things in these two verses. First that in the end God chooses who leads his people. God can and does promote (Psalm 75:6) leaders with the best interest for his people. Secondly He doesn’t always promote (Acts 10:34) the richest or most popular person. This is the reason we need to seek God’s wisdom as we help choose the leader for our country. Saints seek your Lord God as you pray (2 Chronicles 7:14) for our leaders. Tell everyone what Jesus has done for you and what he wants to do for them. Let’s continue keep the first thing first! That is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. “20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. 21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.Proverbs 19:20-21, ESV. Ask your friends and neighbors to join in seeking, accepting and sharing God’s love. Keep the first thing first! That is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. Continue to prayerfully join us in sharing God's love. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. Click this link for more information; admenu.com/calling.htm .
