Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Judges
Chapter
15;
“Samson
is denied his wife, He smites the Philistines. (1-8)
Samson kills a thousand of the Philistines with a jaw-bone. (9-17)
His distress from thirst. (18-20)”
- Matthew
Henry Concise.
We
see God blessing Samson in everything down even to water to drink;
“18
And he was very thirsty, and he called upon the Lord and said,
“You have granted this great salvation by the hand of your
servant, and shall I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of
the uncircumcised?” 19 And God split open the hollow place that
is at Lehi, and water came out from it. And when he drank, his
spirit returned, and he revived. Therefore the name of it was
called En-hakkore; it is at Lehi to this day. ”
Judges
15:18-19,
ESV. Our
God is just and wonderful as God gave to Samson we who follow
Jesus will be granted the same blessings;
“14
but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be
thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a
spring of water welling up to eternal life.””
John
4:14,
ESV. Let’s keep on keeping the first thing first. That’s
salvation through the blood of Jesus.
Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our
salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus
sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and
accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the
angels of heaven, nor the Son,[a] but the Father only.”
Matthew
24:36,
