Today’s Feast
Dec. 27,
2015 – II Samuel 13
THE NATURE OF SIN!
Please join with us
sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying
and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is
within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget
not all his benefits,” Psalm
103:1-2 , English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank you for joining us, as we
prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter
13; “Ammon's violence to his sister. (1-20) Absalom murders his brother Ammon. (21-29) David's grief, Absalom flees to Geshur. (30-39)” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
David still pays for his sin being too easy on his children.
David’s son Amnon was infatuated with his sister and he raped her. After that
he hated his sister. His brother Absalom spoiled by David, living in sin,
murders his brother Amnon. David’s grief multiplies
because he allows his children live in sin. His son Absalom flees to Geshur. “37 But Absalom
fled and went to Talmai the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned
for his son day after day. 38 So Absalom fled and went to Geshur, and was
there three years. 39 And the spirit of the king longed to go out to Absalom,
because he was comforted about Amnon, since he was dead.” 2 Samuel 13:37-39, ESV. The nature of sin
causes us to hate the people we sin against, think about Amnon how he loved
his sister until he sinned against her “For Christ also suffered once for
sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being
put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,” 1
Peter 3:18, ESV. Pray for each other; be quick to turn from sin and
always in any situation turn to God. Keep the first thing first, that is
salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and
post the Feast again tomorrow.
We thank God for the gift of salvation; we should resist this
cancer called sin, drawing on our faith in God for the strength to avoid sin.
This is why we should keep the first thing first ,that is salvation through
our Lord Jesus Christ. “And so, from the day we
heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with
the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,” Colossians
1:9, ESV. Keep praying for each other,
salvation for every man and that God’s will is done on Earth.
If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again
tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in
“religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on
God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our
sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even
the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew
24:36, ESV. We are building our
relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change
anything. Click this link for more

Bless You,
Brother Mike
