Wisdom God Or Man?

Wisdom God Or Man? July 19, 2013 – Job 28 Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 28.  Job talks about how men master how to make themselves wealthy. He speaks of the immeasurable value Godly wisdom. Job says wisdom is a gift of God.   “26 when he made a decree for the rain     and a way for the lightning of the thunder, 27 then he saw it and declared it;     he established it, and searched it out. 28 And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom,     and to turn away from evil is understanding.’” Job 28:26-28 English Standard Version (ESV).   There is wisdom that belongs to God and wisdom that seems right to men.  To fear the Lord and to repent from sin is Godly wisdom.  To give up what can’t be kept for that which cannot be lost is Godly wisdom.   “[Build Your House on the Rock] “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”  Matthew 7:24 ESV. We are wise in a Godly way when we chose to accept Jesus.  To love our neighbors and share Jesus with others is Godly wisdom.  To stake our life on worldly wealth and gain is the wisdom that seems right to men (See Proverbs 16:25). Do you hear him calling?  Sinner com home?
