Jan 29, 2015 - Genesis 36
God Knows Where We Came From!
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
325 But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented." Luke 16:25 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 36;Esau and his descendants - Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis 36, we see the faithfulness of God in fulfilling his promise to Abraham concerning his son Esau; God wants to remind us that he knows each and everyone of us. God knows who everyone is, where they came from and where they are going, look at this verse; “40 And these were the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families and their places, by their names: Chief Timnah, Chief Alvah, Chief Jetheth, 41 Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon, 42 Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar, 43 Chief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom, according to their dwelling places in the land of their possession. Esau was the father of the Edomites.Genesis 36:40-43 NKJV. Our God full of grace fulfilled His promise to Abraham concerning his son Esau. Our God loves us and sees us covered with the blood of the Lamb, we thank Jesus our names are in the book of life! 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16 NKJV. Jesus our friend and savior promised us that we can bear up under the burdens He gives us; “28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29. So NO worries about what men can do to you! “28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Matthew 10:28 Remember God knows where you came from!
