Today's FeastAre We at War Saints?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“I
press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God
in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians
3:14,
English
Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue
the Feast by reading Deuteronomy Chapter
20;
“Exhortation
and proclamation respecting those who went to war. (1-9)
Peace to be offered, What cities were to be devoted. (10-20)"
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
God
set laws concerning warfare. God says not to worry about the size
or strength of enemy. ““1
When you go out to war against your enemies, and see horses and
chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid
of them, for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up out
of the land of Egypt. 2 And when you draw near to the battle, the
priest shall come forward and speak to the people 3 and shall say
to them, ‘Hear, O Israel, today you are drawing near for battle
against your enemies: let not your heart faint. Do not fear or
panic or be in dread of them, 4 for the Lord your God is he who
goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you
the victory.’”
Deuteronomy
20:15-4,
ESV.
Brother Mike that is Old Testament teachings! Surely we are not
involved in a battle? Saints keep your eyes open and put on the
whole armor of God. God is great and greatly to be feared because
he gives his people the victory. God still holds the victory for
those he sends to war. “10
Finally,
be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11
Put
on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against
the schemes of the devil. 12
For
we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this
present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the
heavenly places. 13
Therefore
take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand
in the
evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”
Ephesians
6:10-13
ESV.
Our God is faithful he gives us the victory against the enemy. We
need the armor we find in His Word. We keep the first thing first.
That being salvation through the blood of the only begotten son of
God, Jesus! “24
The
father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a
wise son will be glad in him.”
Proverbs
23:24
ESV.
I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord
Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our
salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus
sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and
accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But
concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of
heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
Matthew
24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do
not wait while you try to change anything;
God
Bless You,
Brother
Mike
