(11-13)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Song of Solomon Chapter 6.   Where does the wayfarer turn to find God (See Revelation 3:20).  Listen for the voice of Jesus calling.  Jesus delights in his redeemed Church; this is where God’s grace works.   Our Christian personality is shaped and molded in the merciful loving grace of God.  “ 13  Return, return, O Shulammite, return, return, that we may look upon you.  Why should you look upon the Shulammite, as upon a dance before two armies?“   Song of Solomon 6:13  English Standard Versions (ESV).   God lovingly calls the Church to stand before Him Just as the king calls (see 1 Kings 1:3) for his bride.  “4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”  1 Corinthians 13:4 ESV.  God lovingly calls us by sending Jesus his only begotten son to pay for our sins so we can be added to the Church.  This alone tells of God’s love (see John 8:42) for the Church.
