Dec. 25, 2016 – Psalm 100 & 101
We Train Up Our Children!
“16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life.” John 3:16 New King James Version (NKJV)
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms Chapter 100 & Chapter 101. The Psalmist ascribes worship to the Lord. David affirms his household will be a godly household. “7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.” Psalm 101:7 – NKJV. Parents are your household’s godly homes dedicated to Jesus? As parents, we have an obligation to dedicate our household to Jesus (See Ephesians 6:1-4). Let us raise our children to love God and all of God’s principles. “4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NKJV. As we raise our children we should remind them that God loves them and what God has sacrificed for us (see John 3:16). Jesus is the only name under heaven by which we are saved! Hallelujah! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
