7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 - Deu 18
l The Feast l
June_13_2012 Deu 18
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 18. Jesus paid the price, not only for our sin. He opened the way for us to speak to God. There has always been false prophets, necromancers, star gazers commissioned by the enemy. If you have a problem or you want to know about your future God is there for you. If you need to know how your life is going prayerfully consult God’s Word not a false prophet, astrologer or fortune teller. “20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.” Deuteronomy 18:20-22, English Standard Version (ESV). See the Lord’s Word say’s we don’t need to be afraid of false prophets. Just be aware that Jesus holds the answer to all of your questions. “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help
and rely on horses,
who trust in chariots because they are many
and in horsemen because they are very strong,
but do not look to the Holy One of Israel
or consult the Lord!
2 And yet he is wise and brings disaster;
he does not call back his words,
but will arise against the house of the evildoers
and against the helpers of those who work iniquity.
3 The Egyptians are man, and not God,
and their horses are flesh, and not spirit.
When the Lord stretches out his hand,
the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall,
and they will all perish together..” Isaiah 31:1-3 ESV. Hey brother Mike isn’t that Old Testament scripture your reading? Yes but the New Testament agrees with the old. “26 I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. 27 But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
Children of God
28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.” 1 John 2:26 - 29 ESV. As for us lets try to keep the first thing first. That being salvation through the blood of the only begotten son of God, Jesus! “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:13 ESV. I send the Feast 5 days a week excluding holidays we read a chapter a day sometimes (if short) more the schedule is taken from a study bible. I am not a Theologian. So if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Concerning Religion:
Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
The Feast
God Bless you,
Brother Mike
