How Can I Share Christ This Christmas Season?

(20-23))” –  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu - Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Philippians.  By reading Philippians 4.   Paul is telling the Philippians to support their fellow Christians.  He tells them of the blessing he receives from being in service to Jesus.  “21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you. 22 All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar's household. 23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.”  Philippians 4:22-23  - English Standard Version (ESV).   I didn’t think I would see the day when people would be persecuted for quoting the Word of God in the USA.  I now understand that we are engaged in a war with powers, principalities and spiritual forces of evil (see Ephesians 6:12).   Many people are not even allowed to wish others Merry Christmas in the work place.  “4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.” Luke 2:4-5 ESV.   I don’t advocate rebelling against your employer.   Jesus provides us with our employment and we must honor our employers (see Matthew 10:16).  So when you are the customer at any business during the Christmas Season at the conclusion of your business wish the people you are dealing with a hearty; “Merry Christmas!”  In doing so you are reminding people that at Christmas we are still worshiping Jesus!  Father help us to share Christmas with those we patronize this year and every year until you take us home! Hallelujah!    Wait!
