November 12 - 14, 2010-Colossians 1-3

Weekender

November 12 - 14, 2010-Colossians 1-3

Dear Saints,

For Friday, Saturday & Sunday we prayerfully continue our Feast in Colossians 1, Colossians 2 & Colossians 3. Some days we all need someone to run to; “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Colossians 1:15 - 19 (New International Version.) Christ paid the price for that need in others? They really want a relationship with Jesus! Don’t point out the sin, point out the grace and gift from God. Please remember you can reach me in an email to me: mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast Monday.

“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,”- Colossians 1:9

Colossians Overview

“This epistle was sent because of some difficulties which arose among the Colossians, probably from false teachers, in consequence of which they sent to the apostle. The scope of the epistle is to show, that all hope of man's redemption is founded on Christ, in whom alone are all complete fulness, perfections, and sufficiency. The Colossians are cautioned against the devices of judaizing teachers, and also against the notions of carnal wisdom, and human inventions and traditions, as not consistent with full reliance on Christ. In the first two chapters the apostle tells them what they must believe, and in the two last what they must do; the doctrine of faith, and the precepts of life for salvation.” - Matthew Henry Concise

Did you pray to accept Jesus as your savior? If the answer is yes you need fellowship. If you want to correspond with an ordained minister, Pastor Glen would love to hear from you mailto:evangelistglen@yahoo.com.
