What’s Important? Judges 15-17

Aug 31-Sep 2_2012 Judges 15-17

Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully Feast in Judges 15 - 17. We see a practical application of holding people up to the Word of God. When Micah meets a young man, a Levite, he becomes his patron. “10 And Micah said to him, “Stay with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver a year and a suit of clothes and your living.” And the Levite went in. 11 And the Levite was content to dwell with the man, and the young man became to him like one of his sons. 12 And Micah ordained the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah. 13 Then Micah said, “Now I know that the Lord will prosper me, because I have a Levite as priest.”” Judges 17:10-13, English Standard Version (ESV). We've said that we need to keep our eyes on God not on people. Micah is not a wise man, he is religious but his relationship with God is in bad shape. We know that because he makes Idols and worships strange gods. His delusions make him think that God is pleased with him and he thinks God sent the young Levite to him. The truth is the only way Micah could please God is to turn from his idolatry and stop worshiping false god. We all need to live our lives pleasing God. “9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy,” Colossians 1:9-11 ESV. God's Word tells us how we should live. In His Word we find the things that are pleasing and important to God. “28 And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?” 29 Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”” Mark 12:27-31 ESV. Try to love God and our fellow man while keeping the first thing first. That's salvation through the blood of Jesus. I am not an educated nor am I a theologian so if you want to see something changed in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. Where will we turn and where are we going?  Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com or if you want a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com

Father knows best. Judges 14

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jud 14
l The Feast l
August 30_2012 Judges 14

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Judges 14. Remember the old television show;”Father Knows Best”? I'm probably showing my age here, there was a show by that name. “Father Knows Best is an American radio and television comedy series which portrayed a middle class family life in the Midwest. It was created by writer Ed James in the 1940s, and ran on radio from 1949 to 1954 and on television from 1954 to 1960.” Wikipedia. My question is does father really know best? “3 But his father and mother said to him, “Is there not a woman among the daughters of your relatives, or among all our people, that you must go to take a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?” But Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she is right in my eyes.”

4 His father and mother did not know that it was from the Lord, for he was seeking an opportunity against the Philistines. At that time the Philistines ruled over Israel.” Judges 14:3-4, English Standard Version (ESV). We've said that we need to keep our eyes on Jesus not on people. Be careful to check out what people, the church, the pastor, angels and others are telling you. Where do we look, to our heavenly father. That's why he gave us his HOLY WORD. This is why He has a personal relationship with us, so that we know his voice. 26 but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:26-28 ESV. There are plenty of messengers out there that would love to lead you away from Jesus. When they say my heavenly father said this or that, they may not know our heavenly Father. We don't need to be paranoid just hold what they tell us up to the light. The light we use is God's Word and when God speaks then it is true;”Father knows best”. One more time keep your eyes on Jesus and not the world. Hold every word up to the Word of God, your Heavenly Father knows best. “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8 ESV. Let's keep on keeping the first thing first. That's salvation through the blood of Jesus. I am not an educated nor am I a theologian so if you want to see something changed in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. Is my heart righteous? Judges 13

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jud 13
l The Feast l

August 29_2012 Judges 13

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Judges 13. Do the Israelites ever lean? They are god's chosen people! God always loves them, they continually fail in their relationship with God. “1 And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord gave them into the hand of the Philistines for forty years.” Judges 11:2-3, English Standard Version (ESV). If they would follow God's commandments no power on earth could stand against against them. What could the problem be God assures us his commands are not burdensome? There must be another reason. I think maybe we can put our finger on the problem. 5 The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5 ESV. Did I ever mention that we need to keep our eyes on Jesus. Not on the church, they we're all sinners. Well what about the pastor surely he is righteous? No he was a sinner also. Yes but they all turned from their sins and accepted Jesus' gift of eternal life. They are still human, flesh and blood. faith is one of the core teachings of Christianity. The law does not produce righteousness, but faith in Jesus Christ. “23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.“ Romans 3:23-26 (ESV). Man’s hearts are continually evil. Our righteousness is in Jesus, he justifies us. Keep faith in God, trust him to guide you in your relationship with Him. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28 ESV. Keep on keeping the first thing first. Which is salvation through the blood of Jesus. I am not an educated nor am I a theologian so if you want to see something changed in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. So who told you? Judges 12

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jud 12
l The Feast l
August 28_2012 Judges 12

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Judges 11. We see a few of the judges who lead Israel come and die in today's Feast. First we see Jephthah supported by God even when men wouldn't help him. “2 And Jephthah said to them, “I and my people had a great dispute with the Ammonites, and when I called you, you did not save me from their hand. 3 And when I saw that you would not save me, I took my life in my hand and crossed over against the Ammonites, and the Lord gave them into my hand. Why then have you come up to me this day to fight against me?”” Judges 11:2-3, English Standard Version (ESV). Now if we accept the gift of salvation and follow our Lord can the world stand against us? I think not Jesus said that he will never give us a burden that we can't carry! He assures us his commands are not burdensome. 1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:1-5 (ESV). When anyone tries to load you down with more than God asks don't accept it. Always check God's Word and prayerfully ask God for direction. Look to the bible for the Word of God not Pastors, men or women. “4 They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on people's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger. 5 They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long,“ Matthew 23:3-5 (ESV). Keep your eyes on Jesus not men. God gave you everlasting life and he will guide you in your relationship with Him. “Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”” John 6:29 ESV. Let's keep the first thing first. That would be salvation through the blood of Jesus. I am not an educated nor am I a theologian so if you want to see something changed in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. Tue, August 28, 2012, Judges 12, - “Ephraimites quarrel with Jephthah. (1-7) Ibzan, Elon, and Abdon judge Israel. (8-15)“ – Matthew Henry Concise

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.

God Bless you,
Brother Mike

What did you say? Judges 11

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jud 11
l The Feast l

August 27_2012 Judges 11

Dear Saints,

Welcome back I pray you all had a great weekend. Today we prayerfully Feast in Judges 11. We've looked at God's love, his patience, forgiveness, and the power of his Word. Do you know how powerful your word is? I don’t believe in saying;”God you promised this and you have to deliver it because I claim it!” Today we read where Jephthah's oath costs him his only child. “30 And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord and said, “If you will give the Ammonites into my hand, 31 then whatever comes out from the doors of my house to meet me when I return in peace from the Ammonites shall be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.”” Judges 10:15 - English Standard Version (ESV). Do you believe that there is power in your words saint? Your oath is just as powerful as Jephthah's. God puts so much stock in your word His Word tells you not to take an oath. But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.James 5:12 (ESV). When asked if you solemnly swear, say “I'll affirm or yes”. There are many examples of how powerful your word is saint. This is a wonderful example of the power of a believers word;“Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.Matthew 18:18 (ESV). Keep your mind on Jesus. Watch your word and try to keep it full of love and truth. “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3 ESV. We should continue to keep the first thing first. That would be salvation through the blood of Jesus. Before you pull the trigger! Judges 8-10

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jud 8-10
l The Feast l

August 24-26_2012 Judges 8-10

Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully Feast in Judges 8-10. I pray that all of you will have a blessed weekend. There is a theme through Judges that show's us how loving God is. We see the Israelite people sinning and the returning to God for forgiveness again this weekend “15 And the people of Israel said to the Lord, “We have sinned; do to us whatever seems good to you. Only please deliver us this day.”” Judges 10:15English Standard Version (ESV). It makes me wonder if men ever learn. Wouldn't it be better if we loved God and blessed him in all of our ways? We need to take every decision we make to God in prayer. I think sometimes God laughs and sometimes he cries when he hears man’s plans. If we consult God before we make a decision and listen for his voice, we wouldn't sin in the first place. How much pain do we put Jesus through before we listen to God. 14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ” 2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV). When do we really start to call on God before we pull the trigger? What can I do to resist sin? Do we have the way and the will to live Godly lives and love God? I think God gave us a hint. Do you remember what Jesus said about the most important commandment? “36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, (A)“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment.“ Matthew 22:36-38 (ESV). By now we all remember the rest of Jesus answer. Will we truly love and trust God before we pull the trigger? [I Love the LORD] I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.” Psalm 116:1-2 ESV. That's it just call on our Lord first. Alright Saint, we can do it so let's continue to keep the first thing first. It is salvation through the blood of Jesus. I am not an educated nor am I a theologian so if you want to see something changed in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. 6 “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

Ask, and It Will Be Given

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

The Golden Rule

12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.” Matthew 7:6-13 English Standard Version (ESV).
