Our Savior, Who is Christ The Lord!

(12-21)” –  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu - Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Philippians.  By reading Philippians 3.   Paul is telling the Philippians that salvation is not given for keeping law.  He reiterates salvation is the gift of God paid for through Jesus.  “20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”  Philippians 3:20  - English Standard Version (ESV).   We are saved by our Savior Jesus the Christmas gift to all people (see Luke 2:11).   We are sharing Jesus with all mankind; Jesus is the gift for the Christmas season.  “76 And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,77 to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, 78 because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high” Luke 1:68-70 ESV.   We thank God the Father for our citizenship in heaven through Jesus God coming to us as a baby in the Christmas season (see Philippians 3:20).
