Jan 19, 2013 - 2 Kings 3

Dear  Saints,

Today we are prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 3.  In People in Satan's service do despicable things, these are an abomination to the Christian that turn the heat cold; like the king of Moab's sacrificing his son. Have nothing to do with evil acts; we are not the Judges allow God to pronounce the judgment; “26 When the king of Moab saw that the battle was going against him, he took with him 700 swordsmen to break through, opposite the king of Edom, but they could not. 27 Then he took his oldest son who was to reign in his place and offered him for a burnt offering on the wall. And there came great wrath against Israel. And they withdrew from him and returned to their own land.” 2 Kings 3:26-27, English Standard Version (ESV).   It would be our nature to hate and condemn the king of Moab, because his sin made him an abomination.  God will judge the sinner that doesn’t repent.  We are here as a light to the world.  Our job is to let them know God’s plans are the best plans.  Remember Jesus died for us while we were still sinners.  “[The Golden Rule] “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12 ESV.  God’s purpose for the believer is to carry the good news to a dying world.  In doing so we keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus.  Show the sinner that they can enjoy a better life with Jesus.  We are to carry the good news; God will judge and convict all persons that are living in sin, without repenting.  Let your light shine and bury your gavel Saints!

Hebrews 10:19-23 (New International Version)
19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

If nothing else comes your way, hold fast to your faith, for God is faithful to all who look to Jesus as Lord and saviour. There will come a time when we will be called home to be with Jesus, by faith and hope and the promise of God we will stand with Jesus. Praise God for that love He has for us. Thank you Jesus.

Read God’s word with Prayer. Read His word every chance you get.

Let all the people Rejoice and praise Him.
This is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Praise God.

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV.
