As it is written,  How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!””  Romans 10:9 Isaiah Chapter 52, “The welcome news of Christ's kingdom. (1-12) The humiliation of the Messiah. (13-15)” -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 52.   It’s all about (see Isaiah 52:9) Jesus!  “14 As many were astonished at you— his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind— 15 so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand.” Isaiah 52:14-15  English Standard Versions (ESV).  He was pierced for our transgressions!  Jesus our Lord despised (see Mark 9:12) he suffered on the cross for our disobediences. “39 But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.”  Matthew 12:39-41 ESV.  Jesus paid the full price for our (see Romans 5:8) transgressions.
