The precious blood Exodus 24

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Exo 24 l The Feast Daily Edition l Feb 22_2012 Exodus 24 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus 24. Today’s Feast is about God’s covenant with his chosen people. Let’s take a glance at what was prepared for his people; “7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.” 8 And Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”” God gave Moses the Book of the Covenant. Moses conveyed it to the people. The people agree to the Covenant. Then the Covenant is consecrated in the blood. ” Exodus 23:25-26, (ESV - English Standard Version)." Now pay close attention, to what we agreed to when we accepted our Covenant with God. “16 “For God so loved the world,that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 English Standard Version (ESV). God gave his only begotten son to pay for our Sin. Now you can see that we are not justified by the law, not by works , but by the blood of the Lamb, sacrificed by the Father God. Paying close attention the Law only points out sin. By his action we are justified, not by works; “18 knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you 21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God“ 1 Peter 1:18-21 English Standard Version (ESV)”. Justified just as if I never sinned. Then the Covenant is consecrated in the blood of the Lamb.
