Evil and Oppression

Today’s Feast  Apr. 26, 2014 – Isaiah 59 Evil and Oppression Gods Not Dead! Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not.””  Numbers 11:23 Isaiah Chapter 59, “Reproofs of sin and wickedness. (1-8) Confession of sin, and lamentation for the consequences.(9-15) Promises of deliverance. (16-21)” -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 59.  Prayers are deplored by God; if we pray in any other name than (see Isaiah 59:1-8) Jesus.  You are the saints (see 1 Corinthians 1:2) the Word of God refers to!  If we seek our God in any name besides Jesus (see Isaiah 59:13) we are like fools who dishonor God.  This prophesy is about the coming Messiah Jesus; “20 “And a Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from transgression,” declares the Lord.  21 “And as for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children's offspring,” says the Lord, “from this time forth and forevermore.”” Isaiah 58:14  English Standard Versions (ESV.  Other than Jesus there is no other name (see Isaiah 42:8; Acts 4:12) we should seek God the Father’s blessings in. “Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.”  Hebrews 7:25  ESV.  Hear God’s Word Saints; Jesus overcomes oppression and is glorified when our prayers call on Him to intercede (see 2 Corinthians 5:18-19) with God for us.
