August 25, 2017 – Psalms 17

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 17 - “David’s integrity. (1-7) The character of his enemies. His hope of happiness. (8-15)  - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 17.  David is asking God to hear his earnest prayer in chapter 17.  He prays in earnest expecting God to answer.  “ 6 I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God;
    incline your ear to me; hear my words.
7 Wondrously show your steadfast love,
    O Savior of those who seek refuge
    from their adversaries at your right hand. Psalms 17:6-7 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Whatever we pray for we are asking in the name of Jesus.  We who are saints have been sealed with the Holy Spirit.  Praying to impress men and not truly expecting an answer grieves the Holy Spirit.  Praying in earnest expecting an answer no matter what it is receives the peace of God.

Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.Psalm 119:165 ESV.

Today while Jesus is still calling! (See Revelation 3:20) answer him, listen can you hear him?  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;

Let me know if you have any questions or comments, in a reply or an email.

The Feast belongs to Jesus you may share it anywhere with any and all!

[ I Love the Lord ] I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. Psalm 116:1-2 ESV.
